"Good morning Mr. Andrews." A middle-aged woman greeted me as she pushed her glasses up.

"Good morning Sarah," I replied.

I brought my briefcase with me to my office and looked through my cases.

I sighed.

'This is going to be a long day.' I thought, tired just thinking about it.

I was a 25-year-old successful Lawyer. I decided to become a lawyer because I couldn't stand injustice. When I was a young boy barely 18 years old, my father was falsely accused of stealing a priceless painting.

Even though all the evidence clearly showed that my father was innocent, he was still sentenced to life in prison. That was the first time I witnessed how unlawful the justice system was.

My mother died when she gave birth to my younger sister Amira. Ever since then it's just been me, my dad, and Amira. The trio people would call us.

I became Amira's guardian at the age of 18 years old and practically raised her. Amira was 8 years younger than me so currently, Amira is 17 years old. She will be turning 18 tomorrow.

I swiftly looked through all the cases I had for today. I tried to finish early today because tomorrow was my sister's birthday and I decided to take the day off for her birthday.

I cracked my knuckles when I finished my work.

I glanced at the clock which read 11 p.m.

Not bad, I usually work until 4 a.m.

I grabbed my briefcase and headed out. I got into my midnight black Lamborghini and sped off into the night.

I then drove to the nearest bookstore to pick up my sister's present.

It was a newly published romance novel that came out two weeks ago. It was titled, "The Dark Catastrophe: The Holy Saintess Saves the World." I could tell that my sister wanted this novel but she couldn't buy it because the novel cost two hundred dollars.

Crazy, I know. But it was written by a popular K-pop idol which caused the value of the novel to skyrocket.

Thankfully, the book store was open and I paid for the novel and drove home.

My sister was already asleep in her room and I placed the novel in my drawer.

'I'll give it to her tomorrow,' I thought as I collapsed onto my soft King-sized bed, not bothering to take my suit off as I immediately fell asleep and entered dreamland.
