Back Home and, Teachers?

My focus was completely on the Bull Elk, whos spotted form was barely visible in the early morning light. Fortunately, I wasn't a normal human, I was using a Supersensory charm. With my body perfectly still and silenced with charms I made my move. With a flex of my will a Stickfast Hex, stuck the Elk to the forest floor. And, with a quick slash of my wand the Elk no longer had a head.

Levitating the body a placing it on its side I got to work. I held out my wand with a Diffindo on my mind. But, a Severing Charm, was not released. I instead, held it at the tip of my wand. The Severing Charm was invented by a seamstress Delfina Crimp, in the fifteen century, seeking less destructive magic to alter her fashion creations. I had ever since learning the spell had the thought it could turn my wand into a blade.

So holding the severing charm at the end of my wand it became like an ethereal-knife grew from my wand. Creating a hunters dream tool, a knife that didn't need sharpening and, could cut through almost anything. With the ethereal knife on the end of my wand. I was able to field dress and remove the hide in short work.

With the Elk skinned and field dressed I was ready to butcher. But I was interrupted by a noise, looking over it was a pack of wolves. Said wolves were trying to look some kind of intimidating. I just threw them all the shit I wasn't going to eat. Seeing the peace offering they took it and left to enjoy their prize.

With the clearing empty once again I began the butchering process. With the use of the ethereal-knife I render down the elk. Then, pulled out an expanded bag, not the one I recived from gran, but one I bought recently used by hunters to store kills. I took the meat, liver, heart, and head with me leaving everything else on the forest floor.

With my hunt over, prey in pocket I started my treck towards Longbottom Manor. It'd been two weeks since my first year at Hogwarts had ended. I had been brewing a constant supply of Wiggenweld. With it i'd been training constantly, which also meant eating lots. Luckily for me Longbottom forest had plently in the way of nutrients.

Walking into the Longbottom manor, I moved to the kitchen area. But I was interupted by gran's shout.

"Neville come here! We have guests!."

Changing my direction, I walked into the sitting room. Where gran sat with Shacklebolt sipping tea. But wait she said guests. At the same time I ducked and drew my wand. Doing a wandless Homenum-Revelio I found my assailants position.

Confundo, Stupefy, Expelliarmus. One after another the spells came from my wand. Before they hit however a translucent barrier stopped them. Moving to my next plan. I sent a Glacius and a, Diffindo but I didn't wait for it to hit. I transfigured the arm chair closest into a spear which I banished on my target. Then, I held my arm out, and focused an Accio on my opponent. If Hogwarts Legacy taught me one thing it's that Accio did work on people. Well technically their clothing.

My opponent who dodged and blocked all my attacks was unprepared, however for when they were hoisted towards me. Probably surprised they were not able to do anything about Piercing Hex. Or so I though my opponent was suddenly released from my grasp and moved out of the way. Subsequently, a hail of spell fire forced my to Protego up. But knowing it wouldn't hold long. I used Fumos to create smoke and Disillusioned myself just in time for the smoke to disappate. And, three spells to fire directly at me.

Just as I was about to roll to the side a chain rapped around my leg; locking me in place. Not being able to move I held my wand to shield my body. Whilst simultaneously, casting the a finite on the chain to no avail and giving me a headache.

Guess simultaneous casting is beyond me now. I thought releasing my Protego and using Diffindo on the chain. Now free I had to cast another Presence-revealing charm having lost my opponents position.

"!" Then suddenly everything went black and, I was out.

-

Waking up after my black out I was still in the sitting room but, on the floor. Lifting myself up and rubbing my head. Then, I scanned the room to see Gran, Shacklebolt and, Moody sitting there. With me up they turned to look at me.

"Good job boy. You just got cocky at the end. You also need to work on you transfiguration. That chain could've been vanished easily." I said Moody with critique but also so form of pride.

"I'll have to agree. Being so young and already able to use that a wide variety of spells on top of, wandless and slient magics. You are one of a kind." Added Shacklebolt in his usual tone.

"Yes, Frank and dear Alice would be proud of you." Added Gran.

"Thank you all. So you two finally had the free time to show up." I said smiling towards them.

"Yes I have offically fully retired and, Shacklebolt here has been promoted so he has more free time." Explained Moody.

"Well anyway thank you both for coming would you like to stay for dinner. It's freshly caught." I said trying to sell them both.

"Oh what the hell." Said Moody to the surprise of Gran and, Shacklebolt. Moody was famous right around now for not trusting anyone. And being parnoid in the extreme which was why he is retired now.

"I'll stay as well if it's ok." Replied Shacklebolt.

"Yes it is quite alright your practically family." Gran said to him which caused him to smile.

"Good it's settled then. I'll get to cooking you two make yourselves at home." I said.
