Zenar 24

(Guess what's back!? Rewrite time, baby!) Ava Kalesidia is a girl struggling with boredom and a seemingly never-changing life. That changes when she meets Karma Mye Destin, or Mye. Karma Mye Destin struggles with finding friends and hanging out with them with her social status as the daughter of the Duke. That changes when she meets Ava Kalesidia. So, what's the problem? Well, Ava is a Zenar, a terrifying creature that originates from a virus from another dimension. To make matters worse, Zenars, and the Zenar Virus, destroyed every galaxy, destroying the ruling races and bringing the population everywhere to below forty percent. Everyone lives in fear of them knowing that, if they happen upon a Zenar, their lives are most likely over. There is reason for this. Zenars are incredible strong, fast, and are extremely hard to kill. They also feel no sympathy or remorse, acting like a hive mind, and are enigmas, sometimes failing to destroy a metal wall while other times they fly through an entire ship, destroying it. Ava, like all Zenars, seem to have that same strength and viciousness. Only, unlike other Zenars, Ava is perfectly able to talk and think for herself, having what looks like no connection to any of the Queen Zenars out there. For this reason, Ava is kept in strongest stronghold of humanity, Fort Ziler. Unfortunately, no matter how different Ava is, she is still a Zenar, and still kills without reason, seeing nothing wrong with killing and eating humans, which she used to be. Yet, because of how different she is, she grows a strong attachment to the first strange girl she meets, named Mye. Yet, can such a relationship ever last? Ava, no matter how innocent she is, will never see killing as wrong, as her total lack of common sense makes her dumber than other Zenars and, to that extent, more dangerous. Mye's father, the Duke, wants her to have nothing to do with his daughter, and Ava has many more oddities besides her behavior. Why does she look like the President's deceased daughter? Why is it that she doesn't feel the hive mind like the other Zenars do? Why is it that she can speak? These mysteries need answers, and sometimes the answers are much more dangerous than remaining oblivious, especially when it means that not only will the remaining species take up arms, but the Zenars themselves, who are nowhere near as dumb as one may think. This is a messed-up love story about a monster trying to learn how to love. Hope ya enjoy!

Merchant of the Underworld

The Fields of Elysium were progressing quite similarly in the manner of Earth (i.e the living) It's markets were dictated by the paper money and junk that found it's way to the world dimension or plane that the Underworld was located. It's economy ran based on the money printed and created by those still alive, which were strips of paper with specialized ink stains called legacy money. This money held the blessing and the breath found only among the living and was difficult to counterfeit, but not impossible. Other objects of dedication suck as statues, cars, and even spirits of art, craftsmen masterpieces, swords, unfinished paintings, arias, secret messages could be found among the most venerated mansions and mausoleums. In this world all the bonds and promises made above were washed away, severed. Few among the living dared or even could visit. Most souls took it to create a second chance. This wasn't hell or heaven, purgatory or a waiting room, but rather a place to visit and stay. Some choose to stay, some disappeared, both heaven and hell coexisted as all could be found here. Various treasure hunts ensued in search of casinos and lost fortunes. Wandering spirits could be seen as was capable ministers, betrayed generals, scheming businessmen, and black-hearted villains. Ghosts of many pasts from unresolved debts and grudges existed as well. The cries and struggles of the uninspired, thoughtful philosophers and fallen empires helped to add to the chaos that was the netherworld. This was the story I originally wanted to write...however writing is hard. So this is what came out instead.

The Crimson-Eyed Ruler

The Abandoned world is a world without God's protection. The various creatures living there don’t have good relationships with one another. The stronger creatures could have whatever they want while the weaker creatures only had whatever was left. Each creature had its own language and couldn’t understand each other. They only communicated through strength instead of words. The prophecy states that only the true ruler, a girl with crimson eyes, could understand the languages of all creatures and become the bridge that unites all of the creatures. But, despite having crimson eyes, it’s been said that one of them would turn golden when she unleashed her full power. One day, a girl woke up not remembering anything at all. The only things that she vaguely remembers are her knowledge of various mythical creatures and her strange connection to a ‘faceless’ male elf. One ‘brilliant’ decision led her to accidentally opening the wrong door and got sucked into the Abandoned world. A sketchy ‘system’ told her that she transmigrated into the body of a girl called “Adora” and inherited the original’s knowledge and power. In order to leave the Abandoned world that she entered by mistake, she has to get the approval of all of the leaders of each creature in the Abandoned world to create a portal back to the other world. She knew it would be challenging, but... Why do some creatures of the world call her the true ruler of the world? Why do some treat her as God while some plot to kill her? She also finds herself unable to ignore that annoying male elf who keeps getting on her nerves. “ERGH! All I want is to get their approvals to return to the other world, but why do I keep getting tangled up in all of this mess.” --- PS: -The mythical creatures in the story don’t act the same way as the folklore as it’s been tweaked with my imagination. -1v1 romance, but she will have *cough* a few admirers. -The official ML won’t appear until after a few chapters. -This is my first ever novel so bear with me if there are mistakes in the story or if the pacing is weird:))

After-Life

Death. To all of those whomst I've met over the course of my short life, it was a somber word. A word signifying the end of something sweet, something joyful. I believe-- no I know, there are worse things than death. Loneliness. Fear. Regret. Guilt. Betrayal. We make death out to be such a dark thing yet why does it feel so freeing? I've always seen birds used in literature to represent deaths, and now I can finally, truly understand why. Dying feels as if you've taken flight and have whisked away all that once burdened you. And I have never felt better. Perhaps my family still remains down in the mundane world, cursing my name, yet all their words do is add wind under my wings. Luckily I am no longer a part of that world, now my only worry is where to fly next. Perhaps to the ocean to enjoy a nice sea breeze? I feel the sun shining on my face- Shit. Why is it so damn bright? Did the curtains open while I was asleep? Ah. It was a dream. Perhaps a better word is "a memory yet to happen"? My seventeenth birthday to be exact. The day I was finally free, the day I watched myself get impaled on my Father's arrow and bleed out on the forest floor. Though, I don't have much time nor energy to care for that too much, especially seeing as that day is 9 years from now. Why must the God of Life curse me to live again? I am sure there are plenty out there with unfulfilled wishes who would looove a second chance at life. I was plenty happy being dead. Trigger warnings for: Physical and mental abuse, violence, death, suicide mentions, and suicidal ideation.

My Husband With Scholar Syndrome

Just a repost of a romance novel that I really enjoyed. You can find it on novelupdates but I just wanted to post it here for convince sake. Mu Xiaoya lived for twenty-six years before she knew that she had a sudden genetic disease. There was no medicine for it, and there was only death waiting for her. Before she died, many people came to see her, but she was most impressed by Bai Chuan. Bai Chuan was her neighbor, an autistic child with scholar’s syndrome. At that time, his face full of scars was desperate: “I – I studied all your medical records, but I have no way to save you.” Mu Xiaoya was stunned: “You are a doctor?” Bai Chuan: “I am not… …” Mu Xiaoya’s disease was a genetic disease. Unless the gene was changed, there was no possibility of cure. However, Bai Chuan was the only person who tried to cure her after she fell ill. Mu Xiaoya: “Why are you going to cure me?” Bai Chuan: “I want to marry you.” Mu Xiaoya laughed: “If you marry me, you will soon become a widower.” Bai Chuan insisted: “I – I want to marry you.” Bai Chuan, who has cognitive impairments, can’t express his meaning very well, and can only repeat it over and over again. Later, Mu Xiaoya still died. When she woke up, she returned to the summer of her college graduation. Bai Chuan: “I… I want to marry you.” Mu Xiaoya: “Good.” The starlight in the eyes of Bai Chuan was the most beautiful scenery that Mu Xiaoya had ever seen in her life. All credits goes to the author: Grumpy Crab I do not own this novel.
