概要

Living in a world wracked by constant storms, Theo Serrano encounters an abandoned Redever, commonly known as a succubus, in the streets, and immediately tries to offer her safety. If only she could rise above her own insecurities, and summon the courage to openly speak to him. As Theo struggles to find a way to leave Voxsturm, and Lorelei recovers from her previous trauma's, the world around them seems to change. The winds of magic have grown worse with each passing year, and whispers of an old power, the sages, continue to spread. This is a world where science and magic both exist, and terrible storms confine much of humanity into cramped cities where magical barriers could be raised. While the first chapter includes a younger Theo and Lorelei, all characters following that chapter are 18 years, or older. Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this. The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is. It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.
