Growing increasingly furious, Jeffrey unleashed his simmering temper and shot a searing glare at the bodyguard, whose obstinate refusal to let him near Ava only fueled his frustration.

"Are you aware who I am?!" Jeffrey's voice boomed with frustration, his eyes flashing with anger. "Who are you to prevent me from touching her?"

The bodyguard stood firm, unmoved by Jeffrey's outrage, seemingly prompting the fire to come out of Jeffrey's nostrils in his fury. Just then, Ava caught sight of Jeffrey and discreetly gestured for the bodyguard to release him.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" Jeffrey hissed in a low voice as soon as he was free.

"Why are you bringing a bodyguard inside the venue? The security is already strong; why make it seem like you're in danger and need protection from the attendees?"

He wanted to keep the conversation private and away from the prying ears of onlookers.
