"HEY, HONEY... IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL," aunt Rosa yelled from downstairs. "Ok, I'LL BE DOWN A LITTLE BIT," I yelled back to her while I was getting ready. Before I went downstairs, I stopped at a mirror, and I said to myself, "2022, It's my year." Then, I grabbed my things and went downstairs. "Hi, honey, did you sleep well," she said while she was drinking her coffee.

"yeah," I said with a fake smile. I can't tell her that the nightmares are back. I don't want her to worry about me. "I'll see you later," I said while kissing her on the cheek. "Have a good day. I love you, sweetie," she said, smiling at me.

"Have a good day at work," I said, returning her smile. When I got into school, I spotted Zara. I went up to her by the lockers.

"Hey, Z," I said.

"Eve, guess what," Zara said, excitement in her eyes. "what?" I spoke with a wondering tone. she looked shocked when I said, "what." "You don't know," she said with a long face. "ok, class, I'm your teacher, Miss Lewis," she said with a smile. "Today, I'm going to tell you guys a little bit about myself, and then you guys are going to do the same alright," she said. "I'm 26, and I'm not married, and I don't have kids—this is my third year of teaching at this high school. My favorite color is peach and teal, and I love dogs and cats. I have one dog." she said, slowly pacing around the front of the room.

One of the kids asks what kind of breed is her dog. "He is a Labrador Retriever," she said. "Let's see what else is there. . .umm oh, my favorite food is Chinese, and my lucky number is 6," Miss Lewis said.
