概要

Chapter 1Sandbox Game Home

"The 3650th day—it's been ten years. As a time traveler, I understand becoming an NPC in a time travel game. Even being a player would make sense, but why does the game I traveled through seem like a half-finished product?"

Chen Xiyi glanced at the time on his player log, which accurately recorded various events from his time travel to the present.

Talking to himself helped prevent his language skills from deteriorating due to the lack of human interaction.

"Sometimes, I don't even know if I'm a human being or a gamer. Let's say I'm a human: I have all the abilities a gamer should have. I don't even need to eat."

As he said this, he used a piece of food from his inventory, and his satiety immediately increased.

[Let's say I'm a game player, but I'm just like a person—I have to do many things myself.]

[This is probably the so-called semi-digitalization.]

This time, Chen Xiyi didn't speak; instead, bubbles appeared above his head. He could not only speak but also type, with messages floating above his head.

Stepping outside, he saw the mailbox by the door. This thing could send emails, although he didn't know how to use it. After all, he was alone now.

The game world he traveled through wasn't very large—only about 10,000 square meters. It looked big but wasn't that spacious. Over the past ten years, he had meticulously planned every detail until it became what it was today.

His wooden house stood at the core of the game world. To the left was a farm covering nearly 2,000 square meters, used to grow various grains, vegetables, and fruits. To the right was a 2,000-square-meter ranch, providing him with meat, fur, and other necessities.

Behind the wooden house was a 2,000-square-meter pool, and the remaining 4,000 square meters were occupied by forests and mineral resources.

"But games have their perks. Who would've thought that all kinds of crops would be ripe when I wake up?" Chen Xiyi stood at the edge of the farm, and a progress bar labeled "collecting" appeared in front of him.

When the progress bar finished, all the mature crops disintegrated into miniature icons of crops, seeds, and by-products, which were then absorbed into his body.

As a sandbox game player, isn't it normal to automatically pick up items?

The radius was only about ten meters, so he had to walk around to pick everything up.

"The harvest is not bad." Chen Xiyi sighed. After tilling the farmland with a single button, he began to replant the harvested seeds.

This wasn't done seed by seed; instead, a progress bar labeled "sowing" appeared after he made his selection.

When the progress bar finished, seedlings appeared in the farmland. Chen Xiyi then took out a bucket of water and other materials, and the process unfolded as follows:

[You water the farmland, consumption: 200 units of water]

[You fertilize the farmland, consumption: 50 units of Jinkela; the crop yield this time increases by 1~100%]

[You weed the farmland and get 50 units of weeds]

After finishing with the farm, he turned to the adjacent pasture. The animals here were once wild but had been domesticated, naturally, through a progress bar.

Having figured out the game's rules himself, he began his daily routine.

"Let me see. Not bad. Let's take it all."

[You get: 2 cows]

[You get: 5 calves]

[You get: 10 chickens]

[You get: 7 eggs]

[You get: 15 chickens]

Despite its unscientific nature, Chen Xiyi had grown accustomed to the inventory system.

"I'll be busy later making tomato and beef rice bowls. The food made with the progress bar is delicious."

He cleaned up the pasture, which, like the farmland, needed maintenance.

[You clear the pasture and get: 100 units of feces]

Manure was useful for making fertilizer, increasing crop production.

After cleaning the feces, he put the animal cubs into the farm. By tomorrow, they would mature and reproduce. He didn't overcrowd the farm to avoid resource depletion.

Just like planting, breeding required various materials such as feed and water.

[You put into the feed-making machine: 20 units of weeds, 20 units of wheat, 20 units of soybeans, 20 units of meat, 20 units of fish.]

[You get: 200 units of concentrated feed, 100 units of roughage]

[You put it in the trough: 200 units of concentrated feed, 100 units of roughage, which can sustain the animals for 26 hours]

[You put it in the sink: 300 units of water, enough for the animals for 26 hours]

Today's harvest was enough to feed Chen Xiyi for several months, but he continued his routine diligently.

"Now I should go to the forest farm. The trees I cut down yesterday and other plants should have grown back."

"After clearing the forest, I'll go fishing. Maybe I'll catch a shark today."

"A bowl of shark's fin rice would be great, though I've heard shark meat isn't very tasty. If I catch one, I'll keep the fins and use the rest for feed."

"But isn't there a freshwater lake behind me?"

"No, I caught a hairtail before. That's a deep-sea fish. Maybe the developer of this semi-finished game lacked common sense."

Chen Xiyi couldn't help but complain again.

At the forest farm, he stood before a giant tree and watched the felling progress bar.

The tree disintegrated into materials and was absorbed into his body.

[You cut down a tree: you get 5 units of wood, 1 unit of resin, and 1 unit of leaves]

"Wait, what's this? Why is there a red dot in front of my house?"

Chen Xiyi, who was chopping down trees, noticed a red dot blinking on his player map. Something seemed different from what he had expected.

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
