These words inspire me everyday when I sit down to write. I am currently working on my second novel. I used to live in Paris for a long time before coming back to the UK seven years ago. My first book was The Beautiful Fall, a non-fiction account of fashion, genius and glorious excess in 1970s Paris which was published in 2006 by Bloomsbury in the UK, Little, Brown in the US and Denoël in Paris. My first novel I love you too much was published in 2018 by Little, Brown in the US and Picador in the UK. My fiction is represented by Harriet Moore and my non-fiction by Lizzy Kremer.
