455. Louis's Gratitude
Mauve yawned herself awake. She sat up immediately and realized she was alone in bed. She didn't think too much about it, Jael probably had something to do.
She got out of bed and stretched. Thankfully, her muscles ache less. She was sure her morning bath would rejuvenate her some more.
She pushed open the connecting door and walked into her room. By the way, her curtains were drawn, Mill has been here. She would most likely be back soon.
Mauve could easily see the marks on her skin. She blushed as she remembered what had transpired in bed. Hopefully, Mill would pretend not to see them.
Thankfully, she didn't oversleep. She could still make it for the first meal and she expected Jael to be here in time to take her to eat.
Just as she predicted Jael walked into her room just as Mill finished up with her hair. The vampire pulled away from her and bowed to Jael.
"Right on time," he said as he walked further into her room.
