Chapter 51

Bella I've always secretly wished to experience what is was like flying and today you have granted me that. Thank you so much. Alpha Czar said when they exited the Castle and he was out into the sky.

Want to go past the clouds? Bella asked and smiled

Hell freaking yes! Jean would be so envious of me right now. But will it be safe for you in your condition? the Alpha asked

Yes Alpha, it will fine! Bella chuckled

As a matter of fact, I can now see where Kyle gets his paranoid behavior from about my condition. She continued and laughed as she took the Alpha high up into the air, past the clouds as the Alpha's family looked down below.

Several minutes later they slowly descended inside of the pillars. Bella released his hands when they were grounded and began to pass her hands over the etching on the stone and immediately her eyes turned red and she began speaking in tongues.

Here lies Lera, daughter of Isabel the white witch and King Alfred, wife of Cain and mother of Caleb. Bella translated to the Alpha.

This one says,

Here lies Cain the werewolf, husband of Queen Lera and father of Caleb, she continued.

Bella moved on to all the pillar and read each for the Alpha who laughed and clapped with great delight especially when she read the inscription of the wergons, Luna and Drake.

When she was finished Bella took the Alpha's hand and proceeded to fly back to the Castle.

You are a truly remarkable individual Bella! I am glad that you are now in my family! Alpha Czar said as he looked at Bella.

Bella gave the Alpha's hand a small squeeze and continued towards the Castle. When she arrived directly above the family and slowly came down, the Alpha's face was beaming.

Well I see someone had a better day than some! Lizzy remarked as the family began to laugh

Well it's time for me to head back so you guys could get back to work. Bella said

Oh Alpha your last gift! Bella said

I thought that my last gift was flying and the inscription of my ancestors you read for me Bella! Youve given me so much in the short time you've been here already! Czar answered

No this is! Bella said and pointed to the ground.

Immediately she began saying an incantation repeatedly and soon after the ground began shaking. Suddenly, large cracks opened up several feet from around the Castle and the land began to cave. Before everyone's eyes, a huge moat appeared around the castle with hot blazing coals.

Remember Alpha,that these magical gift will last only until the battle is over and then everything I changed will magically disappear and return to its normal state. Bella warned

Everyone stood amazed except Kyle who was running back and forth excitedly and laughing.

Look! Look everyone we have a moat with flaming hot coals! He shouted in delight causing everyone to run towards the edge to look at it.

Bella knew that the entire family would return and begin to thank her profusely for her help and wanted to avoid that scenario so she slipped off to her car. When she was inside, she sounded her horn and drove off.

Thank you my love. You have truly given our family an amazing chance with our battle tomorrow. Not to mentioned, excited my father and eased his nervousness. Kyle mindlinked Bella and said when he saw her driving away.

It's the least I could do seeing that I'm forbidden to be there! Bella answered

Okay I'll visit you later okay. I love you Bella! Kyle said

Oh by the way, mother has invited the rest of your family for dinner tonight seeing that Jean is already there with Lizzy's pups. Bella said causing Kyle to chuckle in the background.

You still won't say you love me back, won't you beautiful Bella? I'll tell the family! Kyle said

Okay bye Kyle! Bella said and smiled as she drove towards home.

I for one propose that should Bella and Kyle not make it together in the future, Kyle should be exiled from the pack and Bella and her pups should stay! Karl said to the family as they all looked at the flaming moat as Bella drove off.

And I second that! the Alpha replied jokingly

Providing that she doesn't kill him before he's exiled! Lizzy added causing the entire family to agree and nod their heads.

A small hiccup! Karl continued.

I see how it is! Disowned by my own family for a little magic! I swear I'll get you guys back for saying that! Kyle said as he walked back into the Castle and went directly to the catapults and trebuchet that Bella had installed and admired them.

I'm thinking flaming balls like our ancestors! Czar shouted from down below when they followed Kyle inside several minutes later to resume working.

You read my mind Alpha! Kyle said smiling.

And so the entire werewolf family continued to work for several hours,  preparing the castle until the sun had set. When they all could do no more, the entire family sat on the steps while Czar told them about what Bella had translated to him at the pillars. He pointed to each pillar and informed them of what she had said to him.

Well today was a long, interesting day if I may say so myself! Kyle said as he got up

Now I think I'll leave all of you and go visit Bella and have some of that potato salad and barbecue steaks with a fresh salad that her mom made for me! Kyle continued

Everyone's eyes lit up with hunger including the Alpha.

Kyle you think she made extras? Can you call and ask! Karl asked

Off course not! After you guys threw me away in the bush for Bella earlier. Hell frickin no! Kyle teased

Kyle please, we're starving after Karl ate most of the pizza! Lizzy begged as Kyle shapeshifted into a lycanthrope.

Immediately, Karl mindlink his mother to ask her to save him and Charlie a plate and Jean informed him that Claire had invited everyone for dinner.

Kyle you snake! Why didn't you tell us that Claire invited us all for dinner? Karl shouted as he shapeshifted into a werewolf

Kyle immediately began running down the road towards the forest that would take them to Bella's parents house,

Why should I? Weren't you the first to disown me earlier? Kyle shouted over his back only to see the entire pack running to catch up to him, including the Alpha.

Fifteen minutes later, they all arrived at the house breathless. Thankfully Claire and Jean had prepared everything outside so their smell of perspiration and wet fur didn't cause a problem. Peter was on the porch with Lizzy's three pups playing and Bella was bringing food out of the house and placing it on the table.

When the table was set and the werewolves along with the rest had cleaned themselves up, they all began to sit around the table, Several minutes later, Peter got up and began to speak.

Tonight we are gathered here to feast on this delicious food prepared by my wife and Jean. But before we dig in and enjoy this meal, I would like to say a few words. Peter said as he picked up a glass of wine.

 Everyone became quiet and began to listen attentively.

Over the past years, I had been taught that every species has certain qualities that identifies its own particular culture, habits, food or even language, with humans being the weakest species of all as compared to the rest! Peter continued as everyone laughed.

But over the past few months I have witnessed one thing before my very eyes. And that is, that even though we may have all these varying qualities in each of us, the one thing that breaks through all these barriers and wipes away any differences, is love. Today I sit, along with my family, and feast with great honor at having the bravest pack of werewolves and Alpha that have lived! I wish you and your family great success in your battle tomorrow and pray that each and everyone of you return to complete our family. Peter said and clinked his glass with Alpha Czar and sat down.

Alpha Czar then stood up and began to howl in appreciation and dedication of what Peter had just said and everyone began to howl erratically including Lizzy's pups who were on the laps of Claire, Jean and Lizzy. When the howling had stopped, they all began to eat and speak to each other as they laughed and enjoyed each other's company for several hours.

Kyle and Bella had snuck away, after Kyle had mindlinked Bella and begged to be with her for a few minutes. They walked to the big, lone cypress tree not far from the house and Kyle kissed Bella passionately.

Thank you for entering my life Bella. You have given me and my family so much joy within that short, but in truth a truly long time if you check the asteriod incident! Kyle said and kissed her stomach which had increased drastically in size.

Kyle everything will be okay tomorrow I assure you! Your father will undoubtedly win this battle! Bella said softly, trying to reassure him, as she hugged his body and took in his scent.

Kyle then gently pushed her away and got on his knees and pulled out a ring from his pocket and looked up to Bella.

Beautiful Bella, will you marry me and make me the happiest werewolf in the world? Kyle asked as Bella's eyes began to fill with water.

Yes I will. After all you've put me through, hell yes! Bella said almost immediately

You will? You're sure you're just not saying yes because you think I will die tomorrow, right? Because I will haunt you Bella, I swear I will! Kyle replied

No you're not going to die and yes I will marry you Kyle. Besides I'll have years and years to torment for what you said to me in front of your family! Bella said laughing

Guys she said yes! Kyle shouted to his family as he placed the ring on Bella's finger.

Instantly, there was a loud chorus of howls from everyone and Claire even made several fireworks appear in the sky causing Lizzy's pups to squeal out in delight at the beautiful colors. At that very moment, Kyle and Bella's kiss was long and passionate as they both let their emotions take over. When they were done they were both breathless and gasping for air
