Twelve hours later.
Aru felt something cold touch his left hand, waking him up.
"Hm."
He grunted and opened his eyes.
"Uh!"
He saw something white and blurry moving around in the darkness that surrounded him.
However, Aru was exhausted, and his eyes struggled to focus.
'Wait a minute!' Aru suddenly realized. He shifted his attention from the blurry white object to himself.
'Touching my left hand!' He thought, startled.
The sensation in his left hand, the same sensation that woke him, opened the floodgates of his memories. The events that had transpired quickly rushed back into his mind.
"I'm not dead?" Aru was pleasantly surprised. Not dying was great. No, it was more than great. Even the left hand seem to be intact.
"Not yet," a voice spoke from nearby, surprising Aru.
Aru didn't expect anyone to answer.
"Who?" he asked, struggling to sit up.
But he quickly realized the condition of his body.
