(READ CONCLUSION IN THE END FOR TL;DR)Seeing as how there is 40 chapters already, I thought it was about time for me to write a proper review... definitely wasn't threatened into writing this review.
As always, let's start with the writing quality. The writing style of the author has gone through a dramatic change from her previous work, CDO. In CDO, the writing quality was one of the major problems, hence why I was worried about this novel starting out. However, defying all expectations, was the author with her brand new writing style. The writing style and quality is a fresh take in contrary with the over-descriptive chat gpt ahh style you can see in novels these days. Short, simple paras that convey what they need to. There are some mistakes here and there, yes. But they are too far and few to matter.
Update Stability. IDK man, I want 10 chapters daily, but since the author agreed to upload one chapter every 12 hours plus extra chapters I will let her go for now.
Story Development. The story of the novel is simple. Without spoiling much, the MC has to kill the OG MC of the novel, but only after reaching the end. Well it is obviously more complicated than that but that's the gist of it. From what we have seen so far, the story has had and will have more intricate thematic developments.
Character Design. Without a doubt, one of the strong point of this novel. We haven't seen much of all the characters in the main cast just yet, but from the characters we have seen so far, all are unique and engaging. The best one is of course, Zephyra. If you are wondering you the fml is then, it's Zephyra. The author will say there are 3 love interests(no harem) and it has not been decided yet but screw that. I decided for her. No, I DECLARED IT. If Zephyra isn't the fml, then blood will run through the streets like water during a flood. Not a single drop of mine.
World Background. It's fascinating. A world, neither futuristic, nor medieval-like, but rather, a blend of both. We haven't seen much of the world so far as the novel is only starting out, but I can tell without a doubt that this will shape to be one of, if not the best aspect of this novel.
Another detail of this novel I would like to discuss is the power system. It's similar, yet different from the conventional power systems. And I can sense the potential it wields. Imagine a fantasy novel where each character possesses a power so distinct and captivating that it leaves readers spellbound. From the mystic ability to copy others' powers for a short while, an ability with so much limitations, to the abilities of manipulating blood, void and space alike. From what we have been shown there is also a crystal, energy and other interesting elements that aren't explored much on WNs. What makes this novel truly remarkable is how these unique powers intertwine with the plot, driving the story forward with unexpected twists and turns.
CONCLUSION: In conclusion, TIGER(No, I ain't calling it TIGRAE or whatever) is a paramount of fantasy literature that excels in every aspect of the trade. With its intricately woven power system, immersive world-building, compelling characters, and masterful writing style, this novel sets a new standard for the genre. Not to mention, the frequent update rate. Truly, a masterpiece in the making. But would it be made into one? The answer to such a question shall be found in the journey of reading.
