The said friend had been reading a historical fiction and excitedly shares the tale with Rose. A story of ignorant king, jealous queen, poor concubine and sly vengeful man. It was fun as a fiction but what if you were thrown in midst their plots and trickery? That to as a side character with no power or importance! There was another possibility, but that was just crazy. She had heard of the concept, didn’t really think it could happen in reality. It couldn’t be, could it? Rose turned to her maid..(?),she guessed, and held her by the shoulders.
