The Tale Of The Celestial Prince

"This war has gone long enough, the fact that I of all people have to interfere show's the seriousness of this matter, even I didn't expect for this to be blown out of proportion", a weary smile can be seen on his face as he continues, "I do hope that young king Bradley is fairing well against this onslaught, If he survives with his kingdom intact I shall reward him!.. after all I could have prevented this, I believed the gods would have finished licking their wounds by now, I may have went a bit overboard resulting in this mess", his weary smile turned into a warm one, "I should probably interfere, shouldn't I?",

"You should you bully!", another voice can be heard from a small elven girl that suddenly appeared behind him, "Lady Selphie!", a excited smile soon appeared on his face, "I missed you!", before he could say another word she Immediately dumped a mixture of water and flower pedals on his long pristine white then white hair, 'my beautiful hair..', he thought to himself before soon being interrupted, "missed me my butt!, why do you have to be a bully..", she said in a grumpy tone, the young man couldn't help but laugh softly at her words not because they were funny but due to the simple fact she said those words while holding onto her infamous yet adorable pouting face,

The young man had finally met his match he could have easily dealt with a handful of gods, but unfortunately for him Selphie's different she may appear as just a little elf girl but she's still in fact the goddess of the elves, she's a power to be reckoned with if anything, with that being said she couldn't really do much to harm this young man physically but mentally is another story entirely as she had already discovered his vital weakness… a closely buried secret which was in fact her herself! she's his all-time favorite goddess and someone really dear to him as they've be in a relationship of sorts, unfortunately with that being said she could easily turn him into a pile of clay in her hands with little to no effort resulting in what many already half expected to happen,

"I summit to the all-powerful, goddess of the elves.. I do hope you can forgive this naïve boy", he said with a playful tone, 'thankfully no one else is able to witness this, how fortunate I wouldn't be able to save face otherwise..', he thought, after hearing his response her infamous pouting ceased as she immediately pulled him into her arms with a playful smile, 'there's always a bigger fish', she thought to herself before proceeding, "that's better", she said softly while holding him tightly in her arms, 'your mine', she thought before continuing where she left off, "I wish we could stay like this forever but you should really interfere soon.. I'll help!", she said with an excited smile, "I hate to trouble you like this Lady Selphie..", he said with a weary smile, "It's no trouble at all!", she said with a warm smile, "In that case I'll accept your offer and in return ask you for a favor as well!", he said with a playful smile of his own,

"Hmm?", she asked with a curious smile, "I require some assistance with rewarding a certain king and his elf companion after we've finished up here", he said with a warm smile, "sure but you'll owe me one", she said with a mixture of excitement and playfulness in her voice before thinking to herself, 'your already mine but I'll entertain the thought', she thought before soon being interrupted, "I'd hate to leave your arms but we should probably finish up this mess and get back to.. this as soon as possible", he said with a playful smile, "good boy!", she replied with a playful smile of her own,

Several days have passed since then, Lady Selphie and the mysterious young man had separated to cover more ground, Lady Selphie went to meet with her elves in secret while the young man decided to check on his old friend king Bradley to see how he's fairing in a situation such as this, 'Bradley's in his command tent surrounded by his king's guard, It wouldn't be wise to gather to much attention to myself just yet..', he thought before thinking of what to do next before he could finish his plan he immediately saw Aldra Bradley's girlfriend I mean companion!, 'that can work..', he thought to himself before immediately changing into a armor set dawned by the royal army and approached Aldra,

'We've only met several times before.. the most recent incident was when me and Bradley went to the tavern after he snuck out of the castle nonchalantly before causing a scene, those were good times let's hope she hasn't already forgotten it', he thought to himself as he approached Aldra, then immediately a young elf approached her as well with a smile, 'that wasn't planned.. well it's not like I had one anyways ', as he thought to himself before approaching the young elf and Aldra as he managed to get their attention early on… "hmm? Does Bradley need me for something?", she asked with a curious smile, "not exactly miss Aldra..", he proceeded to remove his helmet as he was doing so the young elf became overly excited,

"your hair is so white! Are you an elf too?", she asked, before being interrupted by Aldra with a smile, "I remember you, when did you join the royal army? Does Bradley know you're here? how long ago did you arrive?", she asked while a nervous smile appeared on his face, 'so she isn't still upset with me about that incident.. ', he thought before responding, "unfortunately.. I didn't and I doubt he knows", a confused look appeared on her face, "so what are you doing here?", she asked with a curious tone, "to tell you the truth I wanted to speak to Bradley about an urgent matter but unfortunately.. I had no idea how to go about it", she smiled and began to laugh softly,

"So you managed to sneak into a royal army encampment dawned the armor intended for the royal guard and managed to put it on all by yourself just to speak to Bradley your already close friend..", after she spoke those words her laughter became anything but soft as he began to smile even more nervously then his last, "I did indeed..", the young elf stared at both him and Aldra pretending to follow along until Aldra finally broke the awkward silence halfway laughing before being able to speak, "I've never seen such a friendship I'm debating if I should laugh or cry at your poorly drawn out plan", before she could say another word she was immediately interrupted by him,

"I had no certainty that this plan of mine was actually going to work.. at least until I found you by chance, with that being said can you take me to Bradley before I'm mistaken as soldier and sent off to the front?", he said with a weary smile, she decided to take pity on him while letting him off the hook due to how ridiculous the situation had sounded, "I'll take you to him if anything this would raise his spirits".
