Chapter 1The beginning (1)

Up high above the skies of the mortal world stood a dazzling palace. Shining in such a brilliant light that even the star could not compare. This thing that was shining in the sky, was as dim as if it were a pebble on the side of the road. The palace was in the style of a classic yet old style where it was part castle and part palace. Around the palace were grand columns that seemed to hold even the heavens above them. Around the palace one could see many people rushing into the palace, they were rushing in through two massive doors, as though their very lives depended on it. They all had one thought in mind 'we must get there before he leaves! We must see our leader one last time!' All of this was happening as seemingly eternal darkness began to creep in on the blinding light. This darkness was so deep that if one stood in it. Even if they were near the top of cultivation they would not be able to see through it. This was something that signaled the end of something truly magnificent. The end of an Era, the end of peace for this land and its people. After today there would be countless bloody wars. Wars that will be waged in the name of this king. Who holds his head high and rules in an unlikely way, being able to unite anyone together by speaking and acting. Anyone who has a problem will have that problem solved through any means.

Inside the palace was a hall so large that not even the law of chaos could do it, this law may be very high yet it has a limit. This law was made up of so many other laws that it should be strong enough. Yet chaos can only support something that is around the size of a cosmos. For this hall which has so many people in it that even the air has people flying in it. This hall is truly infinite in size; there is no end to it, so anyone can come into the hall to reach anywhere in the building. To reach somewhere else though one must either have a medallion of the king or know the law which made the space. The law that made up this space is something not many have ever known, and only one understands the law.

In the exact center of the hall there is a throne. This throne was made of a viscous material that was black and white in color. It was like pieces of it were floating off into the void. Think like a lava lamp that heats the material inside, it floats up while it's hot and comes down when it's cool. On this throne sat a man who looked as imposing as he felt benevolent. He had a heart that was made of gold yet blood that ran like ice. His eyes held a fierce gaze that could pierce any veil, and his face was that of comfort as black tears fell down his face. He was happy in this place yet he always had to leave after a set amount of time. This made his heart always felt like it was going to break at any moment.

As all of this was happening the darkness had begun to descend onto the hall. The people inside began to weep as they saw the darkness encroach slowly further Into the hall. Some of these people tried any means to stop the darkness, not knowing that it is futile to fight the universe without the power to stop it. Brilliant lights of many different laws and abilities shone for a brief moment before going completely dark. They began to despair as they realized that they could do nothing with the power they were given. Why had they grown strong if they couldn't use their power to save the one they cared for?

Then they heard his voice, "Be still friends, family, and acquaintances, this is something that I have tried for quintillions of years to stop. If I can not stop it, what makes you think that you can? Do not despair though, we will meet again when I find the way to get out of this. We will live again as a family united by the want for peace and power to protect those we love. So, please be happy, this is merely the first goodbye that I have meant in this life. I know there is an afterlife. I have seen glimpses of it, and it is truly beautiful. All of those I have seen and those I have not seen in so long that I forgot their faces."

The darkness has covered more than half of the people in the hall, and has almost reached the throne. At this point, no one else tried to fight it and instead listened intently to his words. They wanted to remember them for as long as they could. The darkness did not stop sound but only light. Though it was beginning to cut away at the fabric of reality, so he had to switch half-way through to his spirit sense. This made the people's minds feel like they were hearing his direct order. He contacted his people this way when he had a mission for them, he couldn't just walk to everyone that would take forever. He could use clones; it would just look weird seeing him in the middle of battle talking to someone.

"Let us rejoice as another universe will have the chance to be brought to peace and power. Some may fight against me but they will fall like the walls surrounding the great purity sect. Those who destroy what I care about will burn with the hellish blaze that settled in my heart and gave me power. This is not the end for us, but merely a change of pace as you face your true challenge. Living without me and growing stronger. In each of your souls in the deepest part where your consciousness resides I have left a mark. This mark will allow you into the afterlife that was designated for me and it shall allow you to grow eternally. Do not grow reckless just because I have given you this mark. You can still die and I don't want to see anyone dying before they reach at least the 5th realm. I taught you all how I lived, how I wanted this place to live, and how to go forward without me. Now, I must say goodbye, I feel the pull of the universe, it's telling me it is time."

As all the people in the hall were breaking down in tears, the man who was sitting on the throne was slowly enveloped in darkness. This was what they saw until the darkness enveloped them. The man saw the world around him slowly get cut away from the rest. He was leaving and would be destroyed in the most painful way possible. His body would be ripped away from his soul and forcibly disconnected, this would not be easy to go through. He simply did not have any other choice. Anytime he fought this it would happen slower, and would rip pieces of his body away instead. This process would be akin to feeling every cell of your body like a nerve. Then removing them slowly one at a time, each getting closer and closer to his head. This would leave anyone terrified and unable to think rationally. Yet after so many years he withstood it, he didn't need more pain.

He had experienced many things during and before this life. He didn't know why he couldn't die, only that he couldn't no matter how he did the deed. This process that the universe is doing is the only thing that can kill his body. What could kill his soul? Himself? Ha! It would be like slapping yourself, pointless, and painful. He would need a weapon to kill his soul. What could be made that he couldn't destroy with a wave of his hand? The massive hall he constructed only used the law of space as a medium for his power. He knows every law that could be made, yet what one would have the strength to kill him? The only thing this man knows is that every ten thousand years, he feels the worst pain imaginable and moves to another universe.

As he felt his body begin to be ripped away he slowly felt his soul drift away. He could not help screaming his heart out as the body he knew for ten thousand years was being pulled away from him. He thought it would be safe to scream now since the process separates him from the world. Yet his screams echoed through out the hall, into the darkness that filled the universe. Every being was terrified as they heard a scream so loud it resonated with their souls. Each and every one of them would now have a drive for power to rival anyone. They felt an unending urge to see what made that scream. Yet none of them except for the ones who knew what was happening today will ever know. They simply did not receive his mark or interact with him at all. They could have just been born a few days ago yet would have felt that resonance.

Once the man's body was ripped away his soul fell asleep. The soul could not interpret anything anything outside of it or react without a body. Then the darkness which sealed him from the universe took his small piece of world and shoved it away, deep into a gray mass of somewhat viscous material. It looked like a circular hole on the floor that was filled with a thick, almost liquid gray substance. This was the portal that led to a place that no other being could live in. Only one soul could cross it, yet it would do so without a body. To be a soul is to separate yourself from the main dimension and reside on a separate plane. Though in this place space does not exist, only the gray mass that destroys anything it touches exists. One could wonder what this mass of gray is. Yet without understanding the components of it, they will never know as it requires changing something fundamental about yourself. To do something like that you would need to understand yourself to the absolute limit. This is because you need to be able to interact with something that isn't the white energy. To interact with something else would require your being to be attuned to it. Yet you can't attune yourself to it without interacting with it.

That was a lot to go through yet for the soul barely a few seconds passed. Just moments ago he was in unbearable pain, yet now he was beginning to enter a separate universe. At this time he felt a light that was pure white pull him out of the gray mass, this white was slowly eroded by the mass yet it couldn't do very much. The light was simply too fast to completely destroy. Once the soul was pulled out of the mass it began to drift in a void of white, this was what a soul without a body would do if it could hold itself together.

As it drifted in the void of white a voice that resonated with the entire space spoke "i've finally found him. This one has been difficult to get, i had to sacrifice a tenth of my energy to get him. I hope this was worth it, i need him to elevate my people so i can fight with all my power. That fucker wont leave me alone and instead sent a parasite inside me."

As the voice was talking a seemingly imperceptible red particle was floating around. The voice didn't notice this particle as it had seen many such things appear in this space. This particle was slowly drifting towards the man's soul, like a planet attracting energy. It was something that couldn't be avoided. Only the voice saw it and it didn't seem dangerous to the voice when it saw many of them. Once the particle touched the man's soul though it began to multiply faster than even the gray mass could spread. In an instant the void of white turned into a crimson hue that seemed to echoe oblivion. This red light was something that should not exist, it was brought about through something… unnatural. The crimson slowly began to glow as it took note of it's surroundings. This was the first time it could see! It could finally learn things and not destroy them! The crimson then shifted it's focus to the soul that was floating in it's void now, it had one thought on it's mind. 'if this thing made me be able to think I wonder if I can assimilate myself into into it. This would keep me safe if this thing can't break.' As such the crimson began to infect the soul with as many of it's particles as it could. This caused the soul to dance in the air as it felt like it was dying. The soul was being separated Into it's base components, this would kill it if not severely damage it.

As the soul danced it slowly separated into three distinct colors, black, white, and a small core of gray. The soul was originally dark gray. Yet now it was separated into 4 things, white, black, nothing, and a core of gray that burned in endless rage towards anything. Nothing is literally a part of his being as otherwise it would be filled to the brim with the three things. That nothing makes his soul appear dark, yet the red on the outside seemingly shines right through it. The crimson was slowly studying the soul and all it's individual parts. In order for the crimson to integrate into the soul, it would need to understand the soul.

Right as the soul was split, the crimson light seemed to spike in intensity as it understood something. This would be the part where it assimilated itself into the soul. That allows the crimson to have a host and a place to reside. The only thing left on it's mind was the white voice that controls everything here. It would have to give up control of the cosmos in order for it to be assimilated into the soul.

As the soul was split the red completely seeped into the soul and disappeared into the gray core. The white and black slowly mixed again, along with the small core of red-gray. Yet not completely, there was two cores in the gray mass. They slowly faded into the mass the closer they got to the gray mass. The nothing slowly seeped into the mass of gray and red, turning into a deep crimson. It was whole again, not completely. It was slightly broken now, it wouldn't be fixed easily.

As the red seeped into the core the void slowly turned white again. The voice also returned, it was shocked, last it knew it had lost all control over its cosmos. Now it was reconnected like nothing ever happened. This excited the voice, it could finally be rid of that horrid thing. It was what was corrupting it's planets in it's cosmos lower plane. The voice is the will of this cosmos. One could only do so much before they had to build a cosmos within them to advance. They could make it outside themselves yet it would then become their body.

This is not true for every individual, as they chose to make themselves 'larger' by making a cosmos. Some could instead focus on being as small as possible, this would allow them to see the next step. To outsiders it's like this; to advance past the 'ceiling' in this place where gray ruled, one needs to either go big or go small. Literally the only two ways to get out of here are to mimic the gray, or become so small you can escape through a hole in the fabric that supports the gray. It isn't space that holds it where it is otherwise it would have broken through long ago. This ceiling exists in every realm, cosmos, universe, primordial chaos. Everything has a way to move forward yet you must find it first. To most this seems an impossible task, yet sometimes you must do the impossible to move forward. This holds true when searching for supreme power and most don't realize it until it's too late.

As the voice was rejoicing in being rid of that horrid thing it noticed that only one solar system is being corrupted now. It seems that is the location where it started to spread from.

The soul was now floating around like it could interpret it's surroundings. It stopped and rotated as if it was looking for something. The voice realized if it kept the soul here it would eventually find him. So the voice grabbed the soul with a hand of white, it was in such a way that the soul only saw the whiteness of the hand. The soul couldn't feel just yet so the voice had some time to put it in a body. This means he needs to find one that is suitable for it. The voice suddenly got a brilliant idea, put him on one of the planets that is being infected.

Thinking this it began to look over the planets that were infected to find a suitable body for the soul. It first tried to put it in a body on a hellish planet. This planet is covered in things that looked like demons. Some had red and firey skin, others had long horns or large amounts of horns, some were large and devouring things, others small and powerful. The voice soon found a small group of 'noble' demons with a more human appearance. They had small horns and slightly red skin, with hulking bodies that seemed to radiate brutality.
