I am Main Character!

"Hmph, did the sun not rise this morning and bow to me? Did the blue skies not turn brighter when I looked up?"

An extremely prideful boy named Erik marched into the throne room of his summoned world. A king was in front of him with his royal staff looking at the savior of the world… However, under his character description all it said was main character…

They'd seen heroes of five types, archers, spearman, swordsman, lancers, and even cheerleaders, but this was the first time they'd gotten something supposedly better than a hero… This was the ultimate class for any role, and it was the main character.

"So… you're saying 1,000,000,000,000 demons will be able to be slayed by your sword? Are you so tremendously powerful that my eyes deceive me? Your stats are barely a match for the head knight of my Calvary?"

Reasonably surprised by the declaration of this main character, Erik Green. The King waved the Knight forward.

"Hmph, test him and destroy him! Our savior is only the heroes… This main character is nothing but the fertilizer to till the fields with… Now, Langston, KILL!"

"ARGH MASTER I KILL!"

Langston took out a large spear and for some reason couldn't get the lance to move.

"What… what is this sorcery!"

Erik laughed before he picked up a stone from the ground. It was a pebble, and it was much smaller than the spear. In fact, compared to Langston this main character was a measly, weak man barely worth a dime or even a penny. However, lets not forget this was the main character! Even with a pebble, as he walked forward, he looked as intimating as the demon army bent on destroying their capital city.

Millions upon millions of men were counting on people like Langston to pick up his spear, and fight against the demons. He was stronger than five basic Calvary soldiers, and also so handsome and charming that ladies practically begged him to save them.

However, this man, who had only an ordinary appearance, Erik Green, looked so handsome but so normal at the same time. Where was the sense in all of this, what was this a practical joke by the gods above…? Who was doing this to him?

"Here… you just got to yank the spear real hard, or it won't come out…"

Erik bitch slapped Langston and then picked up his spear.

Langston, even though Erik's strength was only an iota compared to a max stat, level 999 character, he somehow sent Langston to the other side of the stone room. For some reason, he had the main character bonus appear above his head!

This apparently increased his statistics and parameters by 40,000%! What kind of damn cheat code was this!? Who did the king have to bribe, or hang, or bow to make him a main character…. Where was his mom, and why didn't she work extra hard on that fateful night nine months before his birth? Perhaps then he could've also been a main character…

He felt like a side dish, and Erik… the level one main character… caused Langston to see stars spin around him.

"Hmph, now my pebble needs a mouth to feed!"

<Pebble Toss>

Erik, just by picking up a pebble, learned a new attack, <Pebble Toss>. Once the rock was thrown, poor Langston was hit in the head. He fell over and rolled on the ground causing his armor to fall off. The rock just happened to fall right between the hole of his Kevlar and armor. Somehow, an ordinary rock caused -99 damage sending the level 10 Langston down to one health.

"So… now do you believe the sky is my bitch?" Erik said with a grin, "I told you before, but you truly believed a hero could beat a main character? Did you know that I have more luck than anyone on this planet! Bring on the battles bitch!"

The king shook in his pants dropping gold out of his pockets. "Yes, indeed! I had no idea…. M-my apologies… here, take my crown, take my wife… Just don't kill me kind, noble sir!"

The king fell down and began groveling. This king his entire life had never begged for his life. He took lives, but now this Erik who was chosen by the gods… reached into his pocket and took some gold?

"No thanks… I'll come get a quest from you sometime… remember… a main character is nothing without a side character… now… give me a damn horse…"

"Bu-but…. Are you really so forgiving! Wow, this king will remember this act of kindness!"

Erik bitch slapped him back to reality. "Hmph, I'm a main character… not the antagonist… shoot…. Now, where's your daughter… I need a sidekick…"

The king began shivering thinking about his perfect and pure daughter. "But… she's all I have… my wife died giving birth to her… I locked her up in a tower for safety! I paid for thousands of dragons to guard her… If you really want my daughter, even I cannot bend to your will, main character, sir!"

Seeing a king grovel before a man who must have come from high school… or perhaps the first year in some university in the other world caused a hero much disbelief as she walked into the room!

"Enough!"

"Who's this damn traitor right here! Tell me now… K—"

The hero looked up noticing a pebble drop on her head… Suddenly she noticed her health dropped by -50….

"What the hell… it's almost like the sky just attacked me…" This hero said confused… she suddenly felt the urge to shut up and began laughing.

"Ha! I didn't realize you had some friends with you… Erik Green! Sorry for overstepping my bounds…"

Erik Green looked back confused not wanting to be distracted by such an annoying girl… However, his only back up was the gods! He frankly didn't even now why that pebble hit this beautiful girl on the head… She looked like the perfect side character for his journey!

"Yeah… that's what you get for being so pretty… Now, why don't you come here and join my party?"

Suddenly, even though Erik wasn't very charming, the girl felt like a spell had hit her.

[Ding! Main Character skill <Charm Anything> level 1 has been learned!]

[Main character can now charm anything that remotely resembles a girl, an animal, or anything north of neutral!]

[Host has now acquired the side kick, Elvia Glow….]

[Elvia Glow]

Level 25

Class: Hero

Race: Human

Power level: 5,100

….

Elvia suddenly felt like she had to go up there and join the party… Hence, she disbanded with all the other heroes and marched up to Erik.

"Wow…. I don't know why, but you suddenly look so handsome! Yes, I will join your party! A second ago, I swear I thought I saw something so common and plain I wanted to vomit up a weapon kill you… However, now… I guess I'm already in love!"

Erik put out his hand. "Hmph, took you long enough! Welcome to the party… Now, why don't you help me rob this man's daughter… After all, she's caught in some tower with dragons…"

"Wow! So I'm all of a sudden I'm not the jealous type! Yes, let's get you a princess! Two girl sidekicks are better than one!"

Erik was now satisfied and nodded his head. "Yup, now king… give me a sword or something powerful…"

The King still shaking in his boots couldn't believe he was being hoodwinked by a main character. He missed the days where heroes would bow to him and listen. Did main characters really have to be so overpowered?

'Seriously, mother! Perhaps if you just tried a little bit harder… I wouldn't have to be such a pitiful and obedient waste of everyones time! I want to be more than just a side character!'

Bang!

Erik bitch slapped the king trying to get him to come to himself.

"Well… come on… we already know we're in Kingdom Erik… why are you still pretending this is Fornia Cavadora City… Now… tell me why that sword is in this rock?"

The king smashed into the wall and then somehow landed back in front of Erik to answer his question. "Ah… I deserved that M.C. Erik… This is the legendary Ex-Variance-Law Sword… Only true heroes can use it… even if you're a main character! The gods will no—"

Bang!

Erik bitch slapped the king and walked off with the Ex-Variance-Law Sword.

"Hmph! In my hands this is just a common weapon… Now, sidekick… come on…. We got to go get the princess to start this journey on the right foot!"

"Uhm… okay! Wow… I'm completely forgetting everything about myself! All I see is you Erik!"

"Yup…. sound's about right, Elvia…"

"Hmmmm, however, aren't you forgetting something?"

Erik turned back unsure of why this lady was saying this to him.

"No! Wait… what did I forget?"

"Hmmm, well… I guess its okay… After all, you can take your time!"

Elvia pranced off towards the dragons surrounding the tower as Erik followed her. As he walked, the sun really did get brighter, and the clouds seemed to spread showing a long blue carpet towards his destination.

….

"So… which one of you dragons wants to be my bitch for a while?"

"Uhm… why don't you just make an army of dragons… I think you have to face the antagonist anyway… He's so strong that he has an even bigger bonus than a main character!" Elvia nodded her head sure of herself…

"For real…." Erik said in disbelief, "Well, then I guess… you're all my bitches now! Come take your master to the princess!"

The dragons looked down at the man in disbelief… He seemed to be only level one, and he was actually brave enough to call them bitches. However, the lady next to him… they'd serve her for millions of years if she just asked…

"Hmph, come on! What's wrong! I'm a main character! GET OVER HERE NOW!"

Elvia sighed before she gave some huge puppy dog eyes…

"Please… please! Please help Erik… He has a lot of bad things about him, but he's extremely important to this story… Please!"

For some reason, when the dragons heard this they seemed befuddled, but then their chains holding them down were shattered. In just a moment, they arrived in front of Erik and bowed their heads.

[Ding! Erik has acquired an army of one hundred dragons!]

[Collective power level of all dragons is 100,000!]

[Erik may summon the army of dragons using the [dragon whistle]… He's also learned new skill <dragon riding> (basic)]

"Hmmm, you guys aren't bad… however, I'm still the main character! So… come on! Let's get out of here… We'll get the princess another time…"

Erik, now extremely satisfied with his dragon army… didn't even put the princess in his eyes. However, a second later, that same very princess ran outside extremely pissed! Her green emerald dress spun in the wind, and she looked almost too perfect to be true…

Instantly, he realized, a dragon army was better with a princess.
