Chapter 15

Of course Scott would be the first person to sweep Jenna off her feet when the last pin toppled over and the bar lowered to push all the fallen pins into the gulley. She did it. She scored a Strike in her own bowling style and won the cup for the company. Scott was so proud of her. He hugged her so tightly no one would have guessed they were not engaged. Out of sheer joy, he gave her a peck on the side of her cheek when he released her. Angela was the next to hug Jenna while Kyle approached and shook Scott’s hand and gave each other a man hug. Then the two children and Gary approached followed by many others to congratulate the team for winning the cup back this year. As Gary was giving Jenna a congratulatory hug, Scott noticed the mysterious woman in black giving Jenna a knowing smile. Jenna returned the smile to the woman with a nod. After that, Scott watched as the woman turned around and walked out of the bowling alley.
