Jason was quiet for a long time. Even though Naya hurt him and made him break one of his codes, she still was an amazing woman. Even McKenna noticed how much he had matured and changed over the last year and half. It wasn't just Naya, it was the children there, it was Anna, John and all the other children that reminded him of what he took for granted. It was Nolani for thinking he was capable of fixing anything.
It was the fact that he was making a difference and that he enjoyed doing it. It wouldn't have been possible without the people he mentioned.
