Chroma stepping out of the group and taking the front was the start. Mirabel blocked off the back of the Hobgoblin so that it could not run. The Hobgoblin tried to retreat when it saw the group of people, but when it turned around and saw the deadly Mirabel, it decided to fight Chroma instead because it could tell that he was the weaker target. Mirabel begins to shout." No one helps him; he has to get used to fighting monsters and killing."

Chroma saw the monster running at him; he could see every muscle in its body moving because the Hobgoblin was running at him, flailing around.

The attack looked like it had almost struck him, but it didn't. Once Chroma escaped out of the way, Mirabel could tell that he got faster once he unloaded a combination.

Chroma then proceeded to beat this Hobgoblin brutally. First with a shoulder strike, then a step into a left hook, followed by an uppercut into a spinning back kick. The movements had no wasted actions, and the Hobgoblin flew back from the combination of attacks it started to panic.

The panicked Hobgoblin threw its sword at Chroma, but the luck was not on the Hobgoblin side; even with it thinking the attack was a surprising attack to Chroma, it was nothing but a wrong decision because Chroma knew what it wanted to do. Chroma caught the sword and threw it back at the owner, hitting the Hobgoblin in the head-turning it into blue light. \

Chroma saw once the Hobgoblin had finished; all that was left was a blue light, then Chroma felt a pat on his back from Gordon." That's how you know it's dead Chroma when it disappears like that; you did an excellent job for your first time fighting a monster." Chroma thought to himself, is this the same thing that happens when you kill a human.

After the fight, everyone started to take a break before going deeper into the dungeon then Mirabel walked over to Chroma and patted him on the shoulder." How are you doing for your first-time kid you sick any? Chroma looked a Mirabel and with a calm face, " I'm okay; it's not like I had any feelings for the Hobgoblin; it's just nourishment for my strength." Mirabel could tell by the look on Chromas's face that he honestly met that Mirabel thought to herself that he might be a psychopath. Mirabel started to feel this way because the Hobgoblin was a humanoid creature.

The generals train their soldiers by killing wolves or chickens before killing a humanoid monster cause of the resemblance to a human, but Chroma did it like it was easy or more like he was having fun. Mirabel grabbed Chroma and had him in a headlock, starting to laugh." Chroma, I think that we are going to be great friends."

Chroma's face started to turn red because when he looked at Mirabel's face, he could see her big smile, and he thought to himself. She looks a lot prettier when she smiles and when Mirabel kills, her looks are calm, and when pouting, Mirabel looks like a child throwing a tantrum Chroma recalls all the memories and starts to make a bank of the faces she makes.

After Mirabel finished playing with Chroma, she ordered the soldiers to set up camp and rest to clear the dungeon tomorrow.

Once the sun had rose Chroma was woken up by Gordon." Chroma, today's the day we go deeper, so prepare yourself." Chroma got up and patted the ants that were crawling on him. Chroma again thought this game was too much like real life; even ants will crawl on you if you sleep outside.

The day continued as the other days, but this time, Mirabel took the lead this day. Chroma looked at Gordon." I thought Mirabel was supposed to take turns with Alisa. Gordon whispered back." I talked to the other soldiers yesterday, and they say whenever they go into a dungeon, Mirabel doesn't take breaks to protect the soldiers."

Chroma looked and thought to himself that Mirabel is a good leader with her putting herself in the front to protect her soldiers usually; it's the other way around, Chroma thought. Chroma's thoughts were interrupted when Gordon pushed chromas' body against the cave wall, then a hand over his mouth.

Gordon had a look of panic in his eyes when he was looking at the hand signal that Mirabel was making. Gordon quickly started to relay the message in a whisper." The Cinder Empire troops are inside. Mirabel has spotted them prepare to engage; we have to be sure that they cant relay the information, or they will know a faster and safe way to get to the Sapphire Kingdom."

Chroma's eyes started to turn red; he thought back to the dream Chroma didn't know this would come so soon. Gordon took his hand off Chromas's mouth, then drew out his spear, getting ready for battle. The next hand signal came. Gordon relayed in a whisper." there almost doubled our number with 30 troops ambush on Mirabel's movement." Chroma thought his first battle to the death.
