Our destiny was no longer up to us, for each of us had a chance in the past and made us make mistakes, great mistakes that harmed others. Since I get to this place, all I hope for day after day is death, as I see no other option, maybe a few days ago I would have considered and kept hoping that I could escape someday, but even if I could, it wouldn't be anything like it again.

Andre, I know that all this sucks and that we probably deserve to die, but we can't give up that fast, says Eliza from the other room with a lump in her throat.

—I... I'm just trying to cope with all this in my way, I recommend you do the same —replies André from the other side of the wall.

—Monica.. he touches the wall twice if you agree to try and once if you disagree —Erick tells him from the other room.

—Guys, we have to get out of here —says Erick as soon as he consents.

—Now he will starve us to death? He hasn't come to feed us —says Eliza confused.

—Maybe he died, but since he is the only one who knows where we are now we will all die —replies André.

—Thank you for your damn spirits, André —replies Eliza without feeling at all.

—Anyway Monica will not be able to eat and as long as that continues she will be the first to die —says André as she recharges on the floor.

—Fuck I'll keep scraping the damn wall until I get to China if necessary —says Eliza as she starts scraping with the razor.

Minutes later he re-entered, his strong footsteps rumbling in this damn place where the only thing heard in the whole damn day was the sound of leaks and wailing.

—Lunchtime —says the mysterious man as he leaves the oatmeal challenges in Andre's room.

—We thought you had died —says André dryly.

—Because we are the same person— the man replies as he takes off his mask.

That's when I could see his face, it was mine and all this time I knew what was going on because I was the kidnapper. I had brought these people under an underground because the only monster here was me.

—Fast Erick, he can get up at any moment —says Eliza, desperately in the distance.

—I can't do anything with these damn fingers and you don't reach Eliza. Monica is our last hope —says Erick as he passes the knife.
