Fergus took a sip of his coffee. He watched his men approaching him. They must have news. Mary stood behind him, she was quiet and haven’t said a word. He felt agitated. He had Alice in his grip and he let her get away, that was messed up.

He knew the vampire lord who took her. Vladimir, that bastard. No one has heard from him for a long time, now out of the blues he showed up messing everything. He wondered what he wanted with her.

His men reached, the look on his face suggested everything was wrong. "What’s going on?" Fergus asked.

"A lot sir", the man replied. "The hunter has not returned to the house yet but we’re still waiting to see if she’ll show up."

"So what’s going on?" Fergus asked impatiently. The man explained to Fergus everything that transpired in the house. How Norman had stormed in and how Martin one of Norman’s men betrayed him and protected the girls. He explained how the girls escaped by teleporting themselves.
