The Immaculate: DxD & Arena of Valor Crossover

–The conflict was never easy…especially between the 'Temple of Light' and ' The Fallen'.

"HRRG!" Heavy like a boulder and smooth as glass which the voice was, Xeniel grunted from the strike that he received from his opponents.

–Especially on the battlefield.

Xeniel put his palms on his knees as he pushes himself upward and with his arms released the person from his grasp who he was protecting – the Goddess of Light, Illumia. Xeniel stood with his Wings unfolded as it drenched in crimson paint that originated from his body and through the gashes and holes that surrounded his body. His opponents stood with one smirk – expecting the warrior would die from his attack – whilst the other's expression was hidden beneath the mask, but the former has his eyes widen as Xeniel stood tall before turning around to face the ambushers.

–This is how Xeniel, the head of the Clergy, has his bravery inspires others.

The demons, stood on the mountain top where the Temple of Light is located, and saw Xeniel's resilience and like a wave of the ocean – it reaches the other demons that stood afar from the sight since they do not sense their brethren's instinct to kill any longer and resulted in them standing still as their line of vision lock onto the brave human – no, angel…This attracted someone in particular.

–And how he is no longer with us on Athanor.

"Well–" same yet different from Xeniel's voice, the voice was deep and gravelly as it contains the death of many innocents and warriors alike, while Xeniel was smooth as a glass of water of holy and divine "–it seems there's one that I could escape…from boredom that is" Maloch releases a hollow chuckles.

"...Maloch the vile" Xeniel clutches his fist.

"I prefer 'The Merciless'" once more, releasing a hollow chuckle from Maloch's deformed and twisted mouth

"I do NOT care for what you demon want' Xeniel said whilst his hands strained from the pressure of his own strength.

"Oh, but I do have something you truly care for…–" Maloch spread his arms and swirl one round before facing the 'angel' in front of him "The END of this, yes?"

"...Where are you going with this?"

"Oh I just want to offer something…because I challenged you to a duel–" Maloch raises his sword and allowed the tip to be pointed at him from afar with a wicked grin " –...and if you win…"

"I'll call this invasion off…"

"...And if you win?"

"...Then she dies" Maloch kept the direction of his blades, but all know who he is pointing at – Illumia.

Xeniel looks down before looking back through his aquamarine visor at the Goddess of Light who is behind him…then he chuckles before turning into full bellowing laughter. All demons, including Maloch, were not expecting the reaction from the 'angel'.

"...Does the fact that your goddess's life is on the line funny to you ?"

–Xeniel's laughter die as he glared at the demon in front of him.

"No –" all demons, excluding the two individual and Maloch, shivered under the tense deepen voice of the 'angel' as a mace and a book was summoned in his hand "–I found it funny that you, of all creature, would ask for a duel"

"Is that so" Maloch strained his grip on the swords as lava begin to boil within him.

"Yes…and I think I stall enough time"

"What?"

–Maloch was then shot by an arrow through the shoulder.

"ARGH!!!!" he grunted before Maloch looked behind Xeniel to see from afar…was someone who is titled the commander of the holy hall – Yorn. Before Maloch could turn around, Maloch's jaw met the 'Hammer of Penance' that was swung from the 'Angel'.

–The war continues.

The two individuals saw what happen and try to aid their boss…only to be met with an arrow landed on one while a slash struck into the armor on the other. One of them was in pain from their foot while the other was surprised that it didn't notice the kunoichi in front of him before Yorn the Commander had come stand next to her. Then the four of them withdraw their weapon after a few seconds of silence as the sound of clashing and slashing through meat and muscle filled the silence instead.

Xeniel continues to hammer Maloch with all his might while he yells out the lines from the 'Oracle of Enlightenment' before Maloch regains his balance from the fourth strike and grabs the hammer before he does an upswing of his sword, vertically, upon the armor 'Angel'. The 'angel' grunted and he continues doing so before Maloch continues to slash while having the hammer in his grasp but Xeniel was able to yank it out and hit him again in the jaw after hitting Maloch in the stomach.

After that strike, Xeniel's wings flare out as Xeniel wraps his arms around the demon and took off to the sky. As the demon and angel were in heaven, the demon still held the sword in his hands and proceed to stab the angel through the abdomen. Maloch was expecting the angel would plummet to his death but no, he kept on flying. Maloch's eyes widen as he releases his sword and begins to punch the angel…it didn't work. As the punches continue, the angel held the demon with one arm while he looks at the last page of the book as he begins to mutter out. At this point, Maloch yelled.

"WHY WON'T YOU GO DOWN??!!"

–Xeniel kept muttering before stopping.

"THAT IS BECAUSE–" Maloch heard something and look back to see a portal.

"THE HOLY LIGHT IS SHINING UPON US!!!!!!!!!!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

–Xeniel last view before darkness take over was two golden hair people.
