The hero and his party killed the demon king of their generation! However it came at a price! While pregnant with the Heros child the Saintess was cursed on her fetus. The child grew up cursed to never become as strong as his father the hero. And the child was the next hero destined to fight off the next demon lord. He was cursed with a multi layered curse that made sure he was super limited. Time for a monster girl harem! They will learn to love him past all the shallow parts that many elves and humans look for in a person on the surface! He will need to do his best to do right by any monster girls who become his wives and make sure they are ready to learn to fight against the next threat!
For generations this land of Grimleal was subjected to a vicious cycle. Summon heros, defeat the demon lord. Summon again, defeat again.
However finally after 5 generations of this pattern enough heros had been summoned to produce multiple heroic bloodlines.
Now the pattern is self sustaining with heroes being born every year. And this generation of heroes are the tenth generation of heroes meant to defeat the current Demon Lord.
In fact let's check in on them now.
The final fight was under way the Saintess the wife of the Hero was buffing their party.
The Hero was using his ultimate technique the soul edge blade to deal a critical blow to the Demon Lord.
His friend the Martial master came up next to deal his hundred fist technique to the Villain.
Then their friend the Sage came in with her ultimate magic dragons breath to burn him.
After another hour of combat soon they are all panting, the Hero and Demon Lord are the last ones standing. They prepare their final attacks and clash. Rupturing the demon castle in half.
The Hero stood triumphant aver the disintegrating body of the Demon Lord as he celebrated with his party.
The Demon Lord thought to himself, 'I can't defeat them. And the next lord after probably won't either... Let me even the odds ever so slightly!'
He chanted a forgotten evil multi layered curse and shot it at the Saintess. The Hero saw and erected an anti curse barrier but his mana was empty from the fight and the powerful soul imbued curse shattered the barrier upon contact.
It slammed into the Saintess and marked the area over her womb before seeping in and disappearing.
She panicked and looked at the Hero before he glared at the now dead Demon Lord. He came to his wife and checked for the life force of their child and found it still strong and healthy. But with a taint to it as if it was muted some how.
They all left the ruins and headed out, Unknown to them all that the Demon Lord left the next Lord safe in a fort hidden in the mountains. Guarded by his generals to raise and train to take on the next generation of heroes and finally win this back and forth generational war.
The Hero Dai and his Saintess Wife Bianca both went to the holy church and checked their childs condition.
The holy bishop told them it was indeed a powerful curse. A curse so powerful that it hasn't been seen since the second generation of heroes. Making them both gasp and ask what kind of curse was placed on their child.
The Bishop explains that it isn't any old curse. It is a multi layered curse that almost wiped out a previous Heroes party during the second generation of Heroes.
He began to explain to the fearful parents that this is a powerful and debilitating curse for the growth of their son who, according to the goddess will be the next Hero.
