We returned to school and got settled. As soon as we did, I took off to see Maverick. I knocked on the door, and the minute he answered it, I jumped on him, knocking him to the ground.

Michael walked by. /"It’s nice to see you two falling for each other./"

Maverick rolled his eyes as I giggled.

/"Not that I’m not happy to see you, but I thought we were meeting later?/"

/"I couldn’t wait./" I grinned.

/"Well, in that case,/" he said, pulling me into a kiss.

/"Can you two make out somewhere else, so we don’t trip and break our necks?/" Major asked.

We stopped kissing. /"Who pissed in Major's Cheerios?/" I asked.

/"Major and Luna are taking a brief break,/" Maverick said. /"Okay, a big break./"

/"That bad?/"

/"There’s a difference of opinion./" He sighed.

/"Just because you and Luna broke up doesn’t mean you have to be a tool!/" We heard Mia say.
