Chapter 6: The Tragedy

As they made their way back to the kingdom, Rolf realized that he had achieved his greatest victory. He had saved the princess, broken the curse, and proven his worth as a dragon hunter.

But as they arrived at the kingdom, tragedy struck. The curse had taken its toll, and Rolf felt his body begin to fail him. He collapsed in the arms of the princess, his final words a declaration of his love for her.

"I love you, my princess," Rolf said, his voice barely audible. "I always have."

The princess wept for days, mourning the loss of her true love. And though she would go on to rule the kingdom with wisdom and grace, she would never forget the brave dragon hunter who had given his life to save hers.
