Chapter 51

***Freya's Point Of Veiw***

I groan as the baby kicks and it sends a shock wave all the way down! My eyes snap open as I look around. I was laying on my back now and the bed was empty beside me..I inhale a deep breath and slowly let it out. Another kick makes me frown.

Come to think of it..we couldn't keep calling him a baby. He needed a name. But what was a good name for him?

This was probably something that I needed to talk to someone about? Where was Astor anyway?

'I'm dealing with the soldiers. They were giving the twins some trouble.' Astor's voice rang clear in my head and instantly put my mind at ease. I smile alittle and sit up in the bed as a light knock on the door draws my attention.

"Come in." The door slowly opens and Raph peeks his head inside. I arch a curious eyebrow at him. Why was he being weird. He offers me a small smile and steps inside closing the door.

He sits down on the end of the bed and sighs as he looks at me.

"How are you feeling?" How was I feeling? Was he being serious?

"I should be asking you that. You've been acting weird the last few days." Raph groans and rolls his eyes.

"Just some stuff I had to figure out. So- Whoah!" I glance down at my belly as the baby kicks again and my belly moves. I let out a small laugh. Raph had seen my belly move too.

"Since we are apparently avoiding the conversation about you..I need a name for the baby. We can't just keep calling him baby." Raph chuckles lightly.

"How about Helio? After The First Dragon Rider?" I felt myself smile brightly then frown a little. Raph gives me a confused look.

"What is it Frey? What's wrong?" I place a hand over my bump and the baby moves slightly.

"Is it okay to name him after a dragon rider? He'll be an Elf." Raph sighs and shakes his head. A small smile formed on his face.

"To be honest. I think it is a great idea! You are carrying him. You will be raising him. You will be his mother. Ava would agree." My heart felt lighter hearing those words from Raph. He always knew what to say. I give him a curious smile as an amazing idea fills my head. His eyebrows draw together. He was probably thinking that I was up to something no good.

"I'd like you to be Helio's Godfather then." Raph's mouth drops open in shock. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Frey..I don't think that's a good idea..What would Astor say?"

"I think it's an amazing idea." Astor's voice makes my heart skip a beat. I glance over at the bedroom door and he was there leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

Raph growls and turns toward his brother. I arch an eyebrow at him. What was that about?!

"It's settled then. Raph will be Helio's Godfather! There's no one better to teach him how to fight!" I couldn't help but laugh at Astor's light tone. He seemed to be happy.

***RAPH'S POINT OF VIEW***(

What the hell was Astor playing at?! I mean serioisly?! I knew next to nothing about kids! I didn't need the responsibility of being someone's godfather! Astor turns his gaze to Freya and his expression softens.

"You get some more rest. I have a few details to discuss with Raph." I groan and stand up, moving passed Astor and out the door. I didn't wait for him. Instead I went straight into his office and sat down on the couch. I knew I was probably in for a lecture.

Astor enters his office and closes the door slowly. He hadn't looked in my direction yet. I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing yet.

"Do you think that I don't know what you are planning on doing once this war is over? You were just going to vanish..and never see her again?!" Astor's voice was dangerously low and his eyes flashed. His wolf fighting for control.

"It's for her own good. And yours." Astor snarls and forces himself to sit down behind his desk. I roll my eyes. I think it would be better if my brother hated me for having feelings for his mate.

"You think I want to see my mate in any kind of pain?! Losing you would crush her! Or have you forgotten that the only family she had left SHE HAD TO KILL!!" I flinch as Astor raises his voice. That surprised me. Astor didn't usually yell.

"And your okay with the fact that I love her?!" Astor's eyes soften. That wasn't what i was execpting. Infact it set me on edge.

"Brother..I've watched you all my life put everyone at arms length. Never getting close enough to anyone to love them..not even your family. You haven't smiled in as long as I can remember. Let alone laugh. Freya..she has this unnerving ability to break down people's walls. Even yours. You've changed and I see that. I know that you would never do something to hurt me or Freya so you won't act on your feelings. But leaving her isn't the right decision. I don't want to see you become like the living dead again."

I sat there stunned. I had no idea that Astor paid that much attention to me. He really did seem concerned. But mostly to what it would do to Freya and I understood that...but, I never realized that he pay that much attention to me.

He wasn't wrong about not getting close to anyone. I had done it on purpose. But letting Freya in was an accident. I hadn't meant to do that and I wish it was easy to shut her out but it wasn't.

I was pulled in everytime she smiled at me. I let out a frustrated sigh.

"I do t know anything about children." I can't believe that I was giving in so easily. Astor chuckles and shakes his head.

"I can help with that..Also..I need you to keep a close eye on Freya. With Helio growing faster than we thought someone needs to be with her at all times. Just incase. Just because her belly isn't growing bigger over night right now doesn't mean he isn't growing. If she goes into Labor I don't want her being alone and scared."

I chuckle. I wasn't sure Freya wouldn't have a full blown panic attack if she went into labor..She'd probably lose all sense of rationality and flip the switch and make Shade go through all of it. I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought.

"Barriers should be put up. If she does go into labor we need a safe area for her to give birth and not have to worry about a surprise attack." Astor nods. Clearly he was thinking of something along those lines as well.

"The Twins will be helping her give birth." I scoff. Those two assassins knew how to deliver a baby? Well I guess you learn something new everyday.
