The Devious Vampire Queen

Enchanted Forest is a land that stretches far and wide beyond what the eye can. In this place lies three kingdoms that for centuries have never been able to get along with each other. Atria, Izmia, and Enchansia are the names of the three kingdoms.

Atria is a kingdom for vampires, it is the most developed kingdom in the whole Enchanted forest. It is organized in a system from the most powerful to the weakest and they have rules that help to maintain order. In this kingdom breaking the rules is not tolerable and something like that is punishable by death but they are a few who still manage to break a few and get away with it.

They are different kinds of vampires in Atria, the strongest vampires are the blue blood. The blue blood is the type of vampires who are blessed by the eclipse and hence possess more powers than normal vampires. These types of vampires are not very many in the population as it is very rare for the eclipse to come. They are the most feared and respected vampires in Atria and they are the ones who mostly run the kingdom. Other than the blue blood the black blood is known as the vampire gods but just like all, they have long gone extinct living nothing but a memory.

Black blood has unique abilities that even blue blood can't comprehend. They are very powerful and are capable of stripping a vampire of their immortality and making them human. The second power behind the blue blood is the daylight vampires. These are normal vampires that can walk in the sun without burning to death. They are strong, have super hearing, and a sense of smell. They rely on their compulsion to manipulate humans and drink their blood when they are tired to go hunting.

The weakest vampires who make up the rest of the population are the nightwalkers. They are vampires who need a daylight ring to walk during the day and those who do not have it can only come out at night. They will burn in the sun if they tried to walk on it without the rings made by witches. The daylight ring is made with specific magic that even the blue blood that can control magic have been unable to master. Rumor has it that the black blood knew how to make the rings but with no black detected in over 10,000 years then no one has been able to prove the rumors true.

These are the vampires found in the Enchanted forest, other than vampires there are a few humans, witches, and werewolves who live in Atria. They live there under the protection of the house of magistrates and hence no vampire is allowed to hurt them without a reason.

Izmia is the second powerful kingdom in the Enchanted forest. It is the home to most shapeshifters but mostly the werewolves are the most popular creatures in Izmia. The werewolves are divided into many different packs but all the pack obeys their king who is a True alpha and the most powerful werewolf and shapeshifter in Izmia. He is strong and had an aura that commands submissions from all other creatures hence he is their King. He has a son who is also a true werewolf just like his father and rumor has it that he is even much more powerful than his father.

No one has ever seen the so-called prince in so long since his mother passed away. He has always been away from the public eyes but the people knew he was around and alive since his star continued to shine brighter than everyone else's star. Other than the werewolves the were- jaguars are also very powerful and well known in Izmia, they help rule the kingdom besides the wolves. They are very strong and ferocious beasts that only understand the violent ways of solving things.

The were- foxes are the next in line and although they are not physically strong there cunning ways have given them recognition over the years. They have used their brains to make a name for themselves in society. They have for years held the duties of being royal advisers to the king and they are in charge of war techniques in Izmia.

Enchansia being the least powerful kingdom in the forest is the home to the witches, wizards, humans, and whispers. Their queen being a famous witch across the land is a wicked person who hates vampires more than anything else and can't bear the sight of them but since vampires are way more powerful and can control the magic she has no right to do anything about it and can only tolerate them. They make the daylight rings for the nightwalkers in exchange for peace with Atria while Atria ensures that no vampire crosses over to their territory. They have been living peacefully for years but that does not mean that there is no feud between them.

Enchansia had been for years looking for ways to kill the blue blood so that they can rid the world of vampires but have been unsuccessful. The day they find a way they won't hesitate to get rid of them. They also hate their shapeshifters but the vampires are the bigger threat so they concentrate on them. The werewolves can't stand the witches and vampires but they believe in attacking when provoked so they keep their calm. The vampires hate shapeshifters and the witches but they believe that they are above them and don't bother looking for a war with them.

The dark forest is the only thing the three kingdoms share, a big forest with plants and herbs for the witches to use for their spell, animals for the vampires, and shapeshifters to hunt. It is the only place that doesn't have magic and every creature found it is normal. It is also a good place to go for a run and enjoy nature. And that is exactly what the princess of Atria was doing. She had gotten up very early in the morning and decided to go for a run and that is what she did.

She was running at the lightning that a normal person would not be able to see, the animals in the forest felt the wind pass but didn't see her. She was running 80km/minute and was moving faster than the wind. She was enjoying the fresh air in the forest and continued running. The guards who ran after her to take her back to the palace failed miserably as she lost them in a minute. They were among the best trained blue blood in Atria and even they were no match for their future queen. This was the first time that the princess had fun away from the palace and that is why they were shocked at her speed. In all their lives they had never seen anyone run that fast, not even their seniors are not that fast.

The older the vampire the faster and stronger they were and they were older than the princess so they were confused as to how she could run faster than them. They kept running around the forest trying to find them but she was nowhere to be seen and decided to return to the palace. They were shaking with fear as they stood in front of the royal grandmother. She eyed them without saying a word, today was her granddaughter's birthday. She was going to be 500 years old today and that means that she will have to take over the throne.

Ever since her son and daughter died she has raised her granddaughter and run the kingdom all on her own. There was no one in Atria brave enough to look her in the eyes except for her granddaughter. She was only ever nice to her, the rest of the world froze to her cold temperament. She has been busy preparing her granddaughter's party when her lady royal informed her that she left the palace. She sent the best guards in the palace after her and now they are standing in front of her telling her that they lost a teenager.

"Get up and follow me," she said and walked away, they followed behind her with their heads down. Queen Iclyn has never been to forgive people for making mistakes and they knew that they were going to die. She walked them to the royal execution yard and told them to do the needful. They walked to the stage and got on it, took the vervain-lased stakes, and aimed at their hearts.

"Stop!" they heard and released a sigh of relief. They turned around and the princess was there standing behind the queen. "Granny what are you doing, today is my birthday so how dare you try to shade blood today," she scolded.

"I wasn't going to kill them after all I knew that you would be back before that. How else am I supposed to make you behave."

"You are growing old grandma so you should try not to get too excited," she said and hugged her grandmother.

"I will have you know that I am only 4,060 years old and I still have my youth appearance so dare not call me old again," she said." Now let's get you ready for your party, the sooner you take your place on the throne the sooner I can take a vacation and sleep for a thousand years," she added and pulled her away.
