"But, I chose here," The Emperor said sitting on his throne. From the look on his face, it was clear that he did not deal with her problems. She wanted to argue but he did not give room for it. "Do not delay this matter. I have many meetings today."
Grandmother bit her lips. She wished she could just sentence me to death by the sword. Her hatred for me was not just because I married her grandson in her absence.
I stood in her way of getting the throne. She was selfish and heartless not to think of the sweet people around. When I looked in her direction, I saw a smile on Queen Valeria. Her end was coming soon. It was going to be a bloody day too.
"I want to ask Ariadne a question" Queen Texas sought permission from the Emperor. When he nodded, she turned in my direction and asked "Why didn't you tell us that this was the dilemma you were facing? We would have found a way out."
