One with the Blade
After rummaging through the remains of over a dozen broken treasures hidden underneath the corpse dust, Hao Xuan finally had some good luck and found one thing that wasn't broken.
A small, unassuming black ring with two gold bands decorating the edges.
"Huh? This is a storage ring?" Hao Xuan could tell it wasn't just an ordinary piece of jewelry.
Ryuk came closer to get a better look, "I thought most humans carried artifacts like this. Why is it so odd?"
"Because there are fragments of another storage ring in that dust pile. Why would he have two? These things are already hard to come by in the abyss."
"I don't know," Ryuk washed his hands of the matter rather quickly, "Maybe the boy knows," he said pointing at Nae Shin's corpse.
"Hmm? No, he's already dead," Hao Xuan emotionlessly commented, "His heart stopped beating a while ago."
