It had been only twenty minutes since Qing had settled in and had been given a room where he would be staying, it was a bit old-fashioned, not like he didn't expect such, but he didn't mind. Roubaul had generously also provided him with some food, which he had to admit was pretty good, not the best, but not at all bad.

Currently, at the present time, Qing stood in front of what appeared to be a large wooden board that had a number of different papers attached to it. There were probably around six or so that were currently on display. Qing was also slowly munching on a piece of bread as he scanned his eyes over the different sheets.

'There aren't too many requests... and I don't really even understand what these things may be asking of me.' Qing frowned slightly as he took a bite out of his bread. Qing was currently looking at the request board, which was where the members could choose from the different tasks for them to complete. 'What's a Vulcan?'

Qing had already asked Roubaul if there were any books for him to study here about the continent, though he disappointed when he heard that they didn't really have much. Qing noted in his mind that he would definitely need to find some kind of library if he were to find himself in a city at some point, which might be soon, though he wasn't sure.

"A Wyvern, huh? Something that I'm familiar with..." Qing smiled as he took hold of a sheet that requested for the removal of a Wyvern, which had apparently been terrorising a small town for the past week. It said that the pay was one-fifty thousand Jewels, which he learnt was the currency of this world. He wasn't sure if that was a lot or not.

Though, he was glad that he at least knew what kind of beast he would be dealing with in this quest. Wyverns were very similar to dragons, except their arms were their wings as well and their power was significantly lower compared to dragons, according to his knowledge. Whether that was the same here, he didn't exactly know.

"Are you sure, Qing? That quest is a B or A-Ranked quest." Roubaul voiced as he walked into the building where the request board was. Qing turned to look as soon as he heard Roubaul's voice call out, Qing had already noticed the recommended rank on the sheet. "Wyverns are quite dangerous, are you sure you want to take it on?"

"Don't worry, Guild Leader Roubaul. If your Wyverns are anything like the ones from where I'm from, then I can handle it."

"You've battled Wyverns before...?" Roubaul blinked in surprise as he stared at Qing incredulously. Qing just looked at Roubaul with a calm expression after having spoken, it was as if Wyverns were really not that big of a deal to the boy. If that was truly the case, then just what kind of land did Qing come from?

"Hm? Oh, yeah. Where I'm from, Wyverns are one of the weaker creatures that you would end up coming across in the wilderness." Roubaul just stared at Qing with a dumbfounded look as he heard this. Qing wasn't lying. The strongest Wyverns usually would be able to fight a cultivator who was in the Third-Mid Profound Mortal Realm at best.

"I-I see... then you're taking this quest?" Roubaul shook his head as he decided to ask. If what Qing said was true, then maybe the boy was going to be just fine. He may have just joined, but Roubaul did hold concern for all of his guild's members. Qing just nodded in response. "Very well then, I'll approve of the quest and you can be on your way."

Qing just nodded once again as he handed the sheet over to Roubaul.

"From what this sheet says, the place you'll need to go to is Valeview Town, which is around twenty or so kilometers away from here. It's quite a bit of distance to walk to, would you like me to prepare a carriage for you?" Roubaul asked. Qing just shook his head, a distance like that was nothing. He could probably make it there in a few minutes if he really sprinted at top speed.

"No, it's fine. Can I go now?"

"Very well, then I wish you the best of luck. Just keep heading off in the direction that we took to get here and you'll eventually make it." Roubaul explained as Qing nodded his head in understanding. Qing took back the request sheet before rolling it up and stuffing it in his pocket. "Be careful, Qing. It's still a Wyvern."

"Don't worry, Guild Leader Roubaul. I'll be fine." Qing gave a small bow to Roubaul before walking calmly out of the building. Roubaul then watched in surprise as he then saw Qing suddenly jump towards the forest as he began leaping from tree to tree at high speeds as he traveled into the distance. It didn't take long before he was already out of view.

Roubaul could only stare in amazement as he saw this.

He knew that Qing couldn't use magic as he didn't seem to have any magic power at all within him, though whatever this power that he did have was completely foreign knowledge to him. He truly felt curious to find out what it was, but he wasn't going to just up and force Qing to reveal it to him unless he wanted to do so on his own volition.

Lui Qing kept jumping from tree to tree as he was quickly making his way towards the village, and if he were to make a guess, he should be there in around twelve minutes since he had managed to cover around five kilometers in only around four or so minutes. Roubaul did say that the town was around twenty kilometers away.

As he ran, he could feel the different areas within the forest and the amount of Qi that had been gathering up. The strange thing was that there wasn't nearly as much Qi at all compared to that one area he had meditated at previously to go up two stages, and he wasn't exactly sure why this was the case.

Though, he could think of two possibilities.

One, there were obviously cultivators that were absorbing the Qi, which would make sense considering the low amount that he could feel around here. Second, there is some kind of other force that might have been the reason for why there was such concentrated Qi back at that lake. Though, he didn't know if any of these two were correct.

He had originally thought that cultivating would become easier here in this world due to the abundance of Qi from what he first felt, but that didn't seem to be the case anymore. That particular area seemed to be a special case. Why this was, he didn't know.

As Qing continued to jump across the trees at high speeds, he didn't really pay too much attention to anything below him unless he sensed danger. So, he missed the appearance of two individuals that were walking in the same direction that he was. One being a young girl around Qing's age, and the other strangely being that of a humanoid short cat.

"Carla, did you see something go past us just now...? On the trees..."

"What are you talking about, child? I didn't see anything."

"I guess I'm imagining things..."

"Let's just get going, child. The location for the job should be just up ahead!"
