"As Leader of the Crescent moon pack and Queen of the wolves of the South side I call this meeting to order," I stood tall as the only Alpha of the pack, I look around the enormous table at all the men and women surrounding me, my beta, Cyrus, leans back in his chair as he looks to me grimly, he knows what this subject is about and he's not happy to talk about it. I place my hand down in front of me and take a deep breath, " as you all may know, the number of mating bonds has decreased in the last few years, due to this fact the number of Rouge wolves has increased, as the mating ball nears I will need you all on watch." I open my eyes and look at Cyrus as I continue to speak, " Cyrus, due to this fact you will be the most needed as you are my beta, I need to know that you will stand with me at my side so I can call upon you if I need you," Cyrus looked at me with worried eyes but nodded in response. I looked to the rest of my patrons and asked with conviction, "can I trust you all to stand by my side as well?" In an almost echoed way the entire room roars "yes my Queen" I look proudly at the people surrounding me as I achnoledge that we've come to a mutual understanding, I let the room clear of all my advisors aides as I look at Cyrus, "I've been waiting for this meeting to be over with, Amber, you wouldn't believe how long I've waited for this moment." I clasp Cyrus's cheek tenderly and laugh at the silly expression he gives me, "I can't believe the time is almost here," I say, "we'll be mated for sure this time."

"We don't know that for sure, " Cyrus reminds me, " you might still find your true mate" Cyrus loosens his hold on me a little bit and begins to turn his head, a cold shiver runs down my spine at the feeling of his loosening grip. I pull him closer with ease as he looks me in the eyes again his mouth gaping open and I take that moment to strike, for a moment time slows as the small movement plays out in real life, my lips find Cyrus's and for a moment I kiss with no response, but just as I'm about to say forget it and release my hold on him he turns me around and presses me to the table throwing papers out of the way as he presses closer to me, my hands find their place around his head and I melt into him easily, our once separate bodies becoming one and the same. My legs wrap around Cyrus's waist as I pull him closer to me, heat rushes through my body sending shivers of pleasure rocketing up and down my spine, I press into Cyrus and feel a growl escape his lips as he pulls he closer, the sound shakes me to my core, it doesn't scare me, rather the opposite, it sends more shivers of pleasure skittering across my skin and I moan as the pull to this man, my beta, becomes oh so much stronger. I go to reach for the hem of Cyrus's shirt when a sudden knock echoes across the room sending a growl of displeasure from both Cyrus's and my own lips, I stand from my table and straighten my clothes checking the mirror to make sure that I look presentable rather than like I just found and fucked my mate, in this case, hopefully, my beta. And walked across the room to open the door, what I didn't expect was to see my old friend Cristian in front of me but worst of all, I didn't expect him to reach up and kiss me, and even so, I liked it, but as the male pulled away all I hear is Cyrus growling and stomping to the end of the room I'm at and that's when I realized. I felt a shock of electricity as I looked at both these men and worst of all as I looked to the sky I saw it, the pale moon was glistening and the mating season had started, worst of all, I didn't have one, but two mates and both were standing in the room with me ready to rip each others heads off and all I could think was.
