"Warning bells?" Lillian was easily able to keep up with the two, must have been because of the mana.
"Yes." Ray looked at Lillian and stopped running instantly, taking off his black coat. "Also known as Distress Calls."
"What's wrong?" Lillian asked as he wrapped her in the coat, buttoning it to the top.
"A lady isn't supposed to be seen in the town with only her nightgown on." He said, taking off again.
Lillian felt heat rise to her cheeks as she stood there, Vaille watching her with a smile.
"I can't believe I almost forgot about that." She hit her head. "I promised to not bring shame to you, Princess. I'm sorry."
"It is alright, Lillian. I was at fault for not noticing either." Vaille said, looking at her up and down. "I can do something about this."
She looked around them and pulled her into the forest. Vaille waved her hand around Lillian, murmuring something under her breath as her brooch glowed.
