The Proposal

Today, I want to have a peace and calm environment all alone. There's a lot of tourist out there, so I decided go to pool at the rooftop. According to the staffs only few people are interesting to go there, because most of them want to spend time at the beach.

Then, I wear my black malliot and beret hat before to go also I covered myself using a large towel. When I went there, the sun is still high though I plan to read a book and take some nap before to take swim.

I didn't realized, I fell asleep without any cover on my body. I noticed the weather is really perfect for me to went down on the pool. As my body landed on the water, I started to swim back and forth. It gives me coolness and lessen my thinking.

I swim deeply so I can make an underwater medidation. I didn't aware how long I've been in underwater, I was slowly to take stand over the water as my head turns out.

I've feeling someone was staring at me. Now, I'm trying myself to look for who is it and slowly my eyes traveled everywhere. Finally, I found out who was gaping at me while sitting at the poolside and holding a book, none other than....

I feel discomfort, like somethings wrong with me. I can't help myself to be insecured I'm really worried. Ashame rises on me, do I look bad or awful.

Does my body looks bigger than I was before?

I don't know what to do I feel embarassed on how he look at me, so I cleared my throat, for him to know that I was staring at him too..

"Ehem..amp!"

Few seconds before he response on me.

"Oh hey, I mean Hi" he gave me a sheepish smile and brushing his hair

"Hello, how long do stay there? I didn't know you were here too." I asked him

"I'm a little bit longer here, I thought you were already leave. When I came here, all I know I was alone but I'm got up from the pool I heard someone snoring so I followed the sound then I found you sleeping. I decided not to disturb you then I went out side to take some drink before I get back here and fix myself because I felt cold" He stated

"Oh I see that. I just want to feel alone and having my own peace. How about you?"

"Well, let say we had the same reason. I just want to clear my mind and reading a book" he told me

"All right then. I think I need to go back at my room as I see the sky is getting dark"

"Yeah. By the way, are you free tonight? You know its better to roaming around in the evening. I mean, if you don't mind you can along with me. It's up to you"

"Sounds good. That's why I'm here, I want to explore and experience something incredible" I stated while holding into bar arm of the pool.

However, he immidiately stand from his position and help me to get up, he offered his both hand for me to use instead of the bars. Unfortunately, my hands are slippery then it were slide from his hands and I fell in the pool. I saw him trying to reach out me but also he was fell out. When were both in the pool our laugh burst out. 

"Are you alright Riri?" he said while coughing

"I'm good. How about you, look you got wet. I'm sorry you fell because of my clumsiness." I apologized on him

"No, don't worry about me. I thought you really want me to join you uh?" he stated while laughing

"Oh gosh Val! How could you say that. Sounds ridiculuos. If I do that, I think sooner or later someone will gonna kill me" I told him playfuly with sound of seriousness.

"For the heaven sake Riri. Don't over think, your imagination is very horrible. Maybe you always read some action series or watch horror movies, don't you?"

"No way. I just think of it, because a lot of woman are dying for you. If they saw I'm with you they'll gonna misinterpret us"

"I don't care on what other people thinks about us. The only matter was both of us were good. Please, listen to me don't give some credits to others. Look it is me Valerio. I have no one's property, I can do whatever I want, I can go wherever I want. Lastly, I want to be with someone I wanted too." He announced  while looking into my eyes then holding my both hands.

I'm confused about his statement. I feel something strange arising inside of me. It is hard to say I'm ver happy about his words. I know, those are not meant to be for me but somehow my heart and mind are accepting those words just for me. Sometimes, I was curious about myself I think I was changed since I met him. As our hands touched each other, though the water is cold there's warm feeling connected with us.

"Don't be silly Val. I know you can get whatever you want in this world. Everybody knows that" I told him trying to fight the excitement build on me.

"You were wrong, not everything. There is one thing in this world, that I really don't know how to get or I feel. Another thing is, if I have feel that could someone do the same way with me?!" he stated still hold my hands and staring staright to my eyes.

"Sorry Val. But your words are very deep, in fact I didn't catch up what were you trying to say. However, I wish for you to make it happen and I'm here to support you whatever it is"

"You know, that was a very well relief for me. I'm going to be straight with you, we both know, we haven't enough time to getting along. But one thing I want to ask you, could you give us a chance to getting to know each other?" he asked me.

I can't imagine he was asking me like that. "To be honest, I don't know how to response into your words. Before I answer, can I asked you what do you mean about that?"

"I don't want us to have guarantee, like other people, want to know each other because they want to be friends or lovers. In our case, we don't need to decide. Let us the our destiny define us. If you'll agree with me"

I gulped before to response. "Your words are very powerful for me to agree with you. I'll not giving you any longer to wait for my answer and I decided to say" I paused shortly to see how his reaction. I'm very satisfied on what I saw therefore I continue on what I'm saying.

"YES, I'm agree on your proposition" after I complete my statement I was shocked he hugged me tightly. Then I hugged him back, so sign of being happy on our agreement.

"I think we need to get up here, I feel your cold now" he stated while removing his arms around me and his smile genuinely at me.

"Yeah, I think so. I'll go back to my room, how about you?" I asked him looking lowered.

"Don't worried about me I can help myself. So let's see tonight?"

"Sure...I'll going with you. Take care and Thank you Val" I said while smiling shyly.

"You are welcome also thank you my Riri. I'll wait for you in the lobby at 7 in the evening" he said while getting up from the water and help me too.

I nodded on him and covering myself using towel. Then I walk away from him, but I couldn't control myself to look back at him and waving bye.

He smirked before nodded, so I let continue to go back on my room.

Get ready for myself tonight, I can't keep my excitement.
