Quality Time

The time has come, I think he's already in the lobby. Before to go, I check out myself again and again. I didn't sure about my outfit is suit for our bonding. In fact, I've no idea where we to go. When I feel satisfied with some doubts, I must to face him.

Few minutes ago, I was here as well as I keep myself to looking for him. There's no one here, my eyes are traveling, and when I spot someone who's behind is facing at me, I think I know who is it.

Without a glance, he turn himself to face me and I was right. That's him!. Suddenly he speak out with foreign language.

Him: "Buonasera mia signora"

[Trans: Good evening my lady]

Me: Buona sera signore

[Trans: Good Evening Sir]

I've study his reaction, he was shocked that I can speak italian.

Him: Mi hai sorpreso. Non so davvero che parli italiano

[Trans: You've suprise me. I really don't know you can speak italian]

Me: Non me l'hai chiesto

[Trans: You didn't ask me]

Him: my bad, but if you don't mind how many languages can you speak.

Me: Ik denk dat ik minstens 30 verschillende talen kan spreken

[Trans: I think I can speak at least 30 different languages]

Him: Je hebt me! That's Dutch language! You know I can only speak 20 languages. How on earth did you speak a lot of foreign mother tongue.

Me: I really don't want to ruin our bonding, if it is fine to you can I skip to answer that? Sooner or later I'm gonna tell you, We don't want to rush everything? Right?

Him: Yeah, I'm sorry I can't help myself to amaze to a woman like you.. I just want to say this, do you know how wonderful you are inside and outside...Hmmp, So let's go?

Me: Oh certo, nessun problema.  Comunque grazie per il tuo complimento Val

[Trans: oh sure, no problem. Anyway, thank you for the compliment]

After we discussed, both of us decided to walk along the streets. We're just literary walked and I just mesmirizing the beauty of this place. Every corner we stop for taking pictures. I really enjoyed our quality time.

I can't figure out what feeling is growing inside me, all I know I'm happy in this kinda set. Until now, I was really confused on what Valerio's behavior showing right now. But I liked it, if I known that before I'm not gonna treat him bad.

However, that's life.. Sometimes our impression to someone is wrong until we didn't know them.

"Riri, I think it's time to grab some dinner, what do you think?" he speak out from my back

I smiled and feel my stomach growling, "Yeah..we need to have delicious food. Can I have some request?"

"No big deal. What's that?" he scratch his back head

"Can you bring me to a casual dine not to a fancy restaurant" I said while avoiding to look on his eyes

He smirked "That's it? Ok let's go. I thought it's hard to do"

Then I followed him where to go. I just know, that my stomach is ready to take foods.

When our feet landed inside to a diner, we both look for our table and we sit. A waiter come to us to take our orders.

"Buonasera signore e mamma, cosa ordinate?" the waiter spoke out

[Trans: Good evening sir and mam, what do you to order?]

"Puoi darmi una pasta e soda di gamberetti italiani. Grazie" I told him

[Trans: Can you give me an italian shrimp pasta and soda. Thank you]

"E lei, signore?" he asked him

[Trans: How about you sir?]

"Come lei tranne la bevanda. Solo io uno spritz italiano. Questo è tutto" he said and smile at me

[Trans:Like her except the drink. Just me an Italian spritz. That's all"]

The waiter nodded and walk away. While we are waiting for our foods, we just watch the performance of a band.

"I didn't know how beautiful Italy until I went here. I can't imagine somewhat of my life brings me here after a little tragic event happened to me in Asia" I told him with a low tone

"Wait, you mean the last trip you went before to go here was in Asia? Wow, that's too far from here in Europe. If you don't mind, what event did you talk about?"

"Yeah, I went in Philippines to have my first vacation before to go anywhere. I've been stay there more than 2 weeks before unexpected person followed me there.." I paused before to continue, "my ex-boyfriend followed me and he forcefully to get us together again, because he just found out something about me. He told me he need that for himself. Our relationship last long 2 years before we broke up"..

" Oh my God..please continue? What he wants to you?" he asked me while grabing my both hands above the table. I saw through his eyes how concern he is to me.

"The reason we broke up was he told me, he found out that he really loved her ex because she gave everything to him rather than me. Did you remembered the first night you found me at your car? After we broke up almost 1 month my best friend wants me to go with him to a bar. So I want to drunk so much to feel recovered. Then at the same time your association was held in the hotel my ex was also there, for us to get together but I refused. Then when I was in Philippines he was also there and he attempted to rape me there, he wants me to get pregnant for his own reason, I cursed him after that he slapped me hardly.  Fortunately, his secretary call out police so his planned was not happened. After that day, I decided to move out for my next destination. My mind was cloud of problems therefore I really can't decide where I to go then without noticed I got a ticket for Italy."

"That was a really memorable moment for you. I'm feel sorry about what happened, how about now are you alright? where's your ex now?" he asked me random questions

"I'm good right now. All I want is to forget that and make my second vacation is very unforgetable. My ex boyfriend was arrested by police but after that event I don't have any news about him." I stated

"Don't worry. I'm here, I swear you'll gonna forget that thing. We spend our time for good memories. What do you think?" he asked me while placing a kiss on my forehead

I was really shy, I think my cheeks became crimson. "Sounds great. Thank you Val" I smiled at him

"No worries. I'm always here for you Riri." he smiled and kissed the knuckles of my right hand.

I can't understand, his kisses give me shiverred and excitement. If we are alone I give him a hug and I feel so relief when he's near me.

"Excuse me, here's your orders" the waiter said and placing all the foods in the table.

We both begin to grab all the foods. After we ate those delicious and yummy foods. A host started to talk in the stage.

"Tonight is a special night. We have a surprise for a 50th couple who enetred in the dine. They will give a sweet song of their lives. Are you excited everyone??"

All of us smiled and clapped our hands. This dine is very awesome.

"Val, before we go can we watch the performance?" I asked him and he nodded also smiled at me

"Ok..let's call out the most handsome customer we have tonight..He's in the table number 5" the host announced and a spot light stop exactly to him.

I was shocked means they thought we are couples. At the same time, we both to sing in the front of all this people..But, I know he will refuse that and tell them we're not couple.

Unpredictable, Valerio take his stand and walk throughout the stage..Oh my ! Literally means he accepted the challenge ad well we are couples.

I don't know what's on his mind right now. I'll gonna wait what he's going to do.

"Good evening everyone. I'm very thankful that you chose us but to be honest, we are not couples. We're in the stage in getting to know each other however, I'm not gonna refuse this challege. I'm going to sing a song that is dedicated for both of us now." he stated to all people.

My eyes got widen, on what he said and what we both gonna do.The musicians start to play their instruments, and later on Val begin to sing..

When he was done on a first stanza, I really awe on his voice. I can't believed on what I'm seeing and hearing right now. I wondered what are the things he can't really do. Then he walk near me and taking me at the stage while giving another microphone. I was really nervous, I didn't know if I could sing again. But I need to do this, I mean it's not bad to try at least I'll try it out. The I begin to sing.

When were done, everybody clapped their hands and shouting 'Very nice' 'so sweet' 'perfect' etc.

We decided to go back on the hotel. To take some rest this night was a really unforgetful.

"I'm feel relief coz I made you happy to night Riri" he said

"Thank you so much, you don't know how happy am I.. I'll never forget this in my entire life. You know your voice is so incredible I can't believed you have a really nice voice. By the way, I don't know how to pay you Val" I said

"No need to pay, but if you insist I'l think about it. I didn't reallt meant to sing but one day I discovered I've nice voice but singing is not my passion. No one knows about it except you. So good night, let see tomorrow" he said while turning away

But before he complete turned I hugged him tightly and whispered "Thank you Val" then I run fast going to my room, I didn't look on his face because I don't know how to feel.

When I'm lying to my bed, I can't sleep. What happened tonight was really bothering me. Knowing myself, I really glad when I'm with him. Even so he didn't act like a romantic boyfriend, but I feel so safe and happy.

How I wish, nothing gonna change us. At this moment of my life, little by little he give me a strange feeling that I really want to stop...

Instead, something inside me wants it to be grow.

Keeping myself to be busy while waiting to be feel sleepy. I'm playing with my phone suddenly I recieved a short video from him.

I'm really wondered what is it. Then decided to play and to watch it.

After I watched the short video. Now my face is like a burning fire. I want to explode I don't know why but my heart is pumping very fast.

He told me, why I'm still awake, I need to sleep and take some rest. And he wished me have a sweet dreams..

I think anytime my heart burst out of happiness. I jumped over my bed, hugged tightly my pillow and extremely shouting.

Maybe if I didn't do that, I'll gonna collapse.
