At The Party
Wooh!
Time flies really fast as I didn't realized it happens. Today is the most precious day of my work in the beloved 'Hotel De Diamante'.
My last day and at the same time a party for charity event will held later tonight. Our boss let us have beauty rest therefore we can enjoy the party even once. My boss and I are the only one knows what may I gonna announce later.
I know it is hard to do, but good thing which I've chance to see another world before to go back in England. The only matter comes around my head, the vacation I'll gonna take after my retirement.
Now, I need to go the salon for having my beauty transformation. Suddenly my phone started to ring..
"Hello, sorry I can't go with you I've an urgent in my business" a voice from the other line
"Oh it's ok, I'm just asking you awhile ago if you're free" I said
"As your best friend my duty is to join on your craziness, I just wanna see how's your look before you'll attend the party" he told me
"Ok, if your free later you can pick me up here in salon then you can see me before I'll go"
"Sure sounds good, but how about when your gonna go back home" he asked
"No need to worry about that, I've my secretary as well as the new manager will accompany me when I'll go home" I told him
"All right then. See you tonight I'll drop you in the hotel. Bye" then he ended up the call.
I walked inside the salon for doing my real purpose here..

We're done on my hair and make up, for the last I need to wear my personal dress for the party. One of the staff got my it and helped me to wear it.
I'm staring at myself in a huge mirror, I can't control to amazed. The girl in the front of me looks like an elegant princess. After five years without any title in my name, I didn't used any kind of sociality on any event.
"Wow! Who's the most gorgeous woman tonight?" a voice appeared on my back then I turned my head slowly to see him
"Well, Thank you. I'm gonna take that as a compliment even so I'm the only one you see right now" I laughed at him
"I don't care about the others. All I can say I'm really proud because you're my stupid best friend though your craziness is oveload" he stated while across two arms over his chest
"Great. If you don't mind it's almost 8 Oclock in the evening, in just few minutes the party will start" I told him while picking up my purse as well put the invitation inside it.
"As you request madam. Let's go" he said while offering his arm on me then I accept it.
We're getting inside on his car and going to the party. I don't know why, but my heartbeats faster than its normal.
Do I feel nervous?
Or something wrong will gonna happen?
Maybe it's just my adrenaline...
On our way, he speak on me "I know it's a big deal for you to leave your job, but just think of the positive side..You'll help yourself to explore before going back to the real world where you belong..it's been 3 years you know. You're not a little girl anymore, you were already grown up..a great woman"
"Yeah, I know that.. Thank you Eros. It's hard to leave but I keep myself telling its a good way to get far my troubles here and back to my family... I'm ready to say Goodbye to NYC. Anyways how about you? When did you go back in England?" I asked
"Can't decide..You know my life is here" he stated
"I'll understand..Remember, how much I am gone before we both meet again. I'll always be fine"
He cleared his throat before to speak, "Hmp, alright then..In the next day, let me drop you off in the airport. Maybe that's the last thing I can do for you before you'll leave NYC"
"Your sounds like that's the last time we can see each other uh" I asked him confused.
"Nah uh! Are you insane? You're telling me my words are for farewell? Stupid!" he irritatedly told.
"Ahahah! Sorry, you made me curious about your words." I laughed bout my thoughts
"Well! Your Highness...here we are!" he said mockingly
"How could you! You're blabbaring nonsense.. I'm just ordinary human we're not in England!" I said firmly
He put his hands up as defeat, "Ok fine, I'm just kidding. It's time for you to get out and make yourself go throughout the crowds"
"Yeh, I'll need to go..Thankyou very much see you then"
"Seeya..break your leg! Enjoy. I gotta go." he said while hugging me and I nodded before to get out from the car.
Now my feet landed on a red carpet, a bundle of camera's flashes on my face. This kinda moment, I'm trying to avoid, but thanks to body guards who covered me.
When the huge door opens for my entrance, a lot of eyes staring at me. I feel like my world is in a slow motion. Curiosity rising on my head, do I look bad for this event.
Suddenly, a voice snapped out on my thoughts, "Hello ma'am, can I see your invitation?"
"Ah yes, of course" then I got my invitation inside my purse.
"Oh you're belong to VIP, can you come with me ma'am..I'll bring you to your place." she said then I nodded to follow her.
"You can seat there ma'am on table 18, Enjoy your night" she said and I smiled back at her
I got myself to take a sit then I realized there are three remaining chairs beside me. Well, maybe my other workmates will take the sits.
A waiter appeared on my side to give me a glass of Tequila. Before I'll gonna sip my drink, a voice speak behind me..
"Hello, Riley...Can I join you besides we're in the same table" he said while doing a vow.
What on earth he was doing...
Did he know?????
"Oh shit" I whispered to myself, "Can you sit far away from me?!"
"Sorry but I can't, I just wanna sit here" he told me as he sitted beside me.
Now, I'm praying for someone who can help me to get out the sight of the bastard beside me. I'll continue to sip my drink, all of sudden I heard a familiar husky voice...
"Sir you're belong to table 18" the same woman who told me awhile ago.
"Alright then" a husky voice answered. His footsteps are clearly to walk beside me, trying to calm myself not to look at him.
Why on earth happening this to me. A two men who I'm trying to avoid are gonna be my seatmate tonight. God, can you help me to disappear.
"Oh! What a coincidence Riri! Now, my mood will gonna change to not being bored about this charity" he stated with smirking
I opened my mouth, but unfortunately the bastard beside me tried to speak, "You know him Riley? Why he was calling you Riri??"
Now, its my chance to take revenge..."None of your business Mr. Jones" I told him while smiling genuinely.
"Why the hell he's calling you Riri?!" he asked again
The husky voice answer him, "Are you deaf? She said none of your business and do you know who am I?"
"Well, as I see an average businessman like the others" Ferris stated. Inside my mind, he's fucking idiot, how he can't realized he's talking to a Grand.
"You'll gonna pay on what you were said...I'm not telling you who really I am. Later you'll gonna know me" he stated firmly. As usual, the first time we met, he also told me that he'll not gonna tell who is he and later on I'll found out about him..Oh Mr. Ferris Jones you'll be dead...
"Do you think I care you? What a jerk" he said to Valerio, I see through his eyes a fire within..
"Ok as you said but make sure you'll not gonna make yourself regret about it." he told to Ferris as well as he take his sit beside me.
"Riley, you should sit here next to me" Ferris ordered. "How could you ordered me like that? Who do you think you are!!" I said to him with raising my brow.
Before he speak, Valerio interrupted him.
"No, Riri let's go. We'll gonna find the special table far away from these idiot" he said while pointing to Ferris and he took my hand to change our table.
Ferris will take my another hand but once someone trying to speak on the mic over the stage. Then, he wasn't catch up my hand and he'll take his seat again while Valerio and I gonna take another seat.
"Don't worry, I'm here Riri. I'll gonna treat like a queen tonight, as I observed every men looks like jealous on me." Valerio stated while staring straight to my eyes then sipping a glass of wine and I smiled shyly at him. This is the first time, I felt relief beside him also nervous. I didn't know why, but I feel safe as he near me and my heart beats faster.
"Thank you so mu---" I cut by the host who started to talk of something about the event.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, what a pleasant evening to all of us. I'm very thankful from the bottom of my heart you're all here tonight. Before we proceed on out main agenda, let's here a short message from the only son of the Great Grand of New York. MR. VALERIO GRAND.. Let's give him around of applause" the host annouced
Everyone clapped their hands same with me, the man beside me take his stand and smiled to each people here and walk throughout the stage. I glanced on Ferris, I saw him paled and left his mouth widened open...I slightly laughed on his reaction.
"Now you'll regretting on how the way you talked to VALERIO GRAND" I whispered to myself and sipping my drink also ready to listen on a short message comes from Val.

Val? Where I've got that name!
How can I called him like that! Are we friends? This is just the first time we talked casually and then I called him by that name..
