Victoria's POV
Saying goodbye to Oliver was the hardest and painful thing I had ever done in my entire life. But I never showed any emotion to my parents as we laid his body to rest. I don't want my parents to worry about me. I want to look strong in their eyes since they have so much faith in me.
"I am sorry, Oliver, I wasn't there with you when you fought the dark King. I love you so much. I will always have your memories with me, and I will never forget you." I said as I stood in front of his casket for the last time.
My parents decided to make the burial ceremony brief for my sake.
I held a white long stem rose, and I felt a single tear roll down my cheek.
"Goodbye, my love, and be my guiding light. I will see you in the afterlife. Please wait for me there. I don't know how to live my life now, but I promise I will be strong for you, and I will give your death justice." I mumbled as I slowly placed the White rose on top of the glass.
