Saving Jessica

A stiff hand grabbed Stormie by the shoulder. Just as she turned back and realized that it was a vampire, Stormie panicked at his dark lips. His face was just too scary to look at.

"Ugh... No! Leave me alone!" She shrieked at the effect of his touch.

"Fuck, you're late!" Jerry cursed at them. "I've got dinner plans! Get these tiny flies outta here. I'll be done with them when Wolfsberg manor is ours."

"Wolfsburg manor will never be yours, Jerry!" Stormie yelled.

"Wolfsburg manor will never be yours, Jerry!" He mimicked her girlie voice, adjusting his jet black hair to the back. And then ended it with a malicious smirk.

Stormie kicked the vampire at her back but he squeezed her neck with one fist.

Grunts of effort escaped her lips as she tried to escape but it was impossible.

"Come to think of it, little lady, it's funny. Your aunt, Magdalena, said the same thing before... Well, you know how that ended. Okay, bye now."

He walked away and other vampires joined to drag Stormie and Adrian into the car's boot. With the driver at the front seat, no one suspected. He drove slowly in the silent night while Adrian growled, impatiently. They were tied in the boot not to escape.

After series of trials, Stormie reached for her phone at the back of her trousers and dialed her mum's contact. It wasn't reachable.

"Like for real? What is the issue with poor networking in Wolfsberg? How do we reach mum before she dines with that evil vampire?!" Stormie hissed, already frustrated.

"When they open the boot, you have to escape." Adrian brought up, making a plan.

"What about you? I can't just leave you here on your own."

"I can take care of myself. Just get mum and warn her. Goodness knows what Jerry plans are but mum might escape his webs." Adrian muttered.

Stormie watched him in pain, things didn't work out as they had planned.

"It would be fine, Stormie. I promise." he said, noticing the worry in her eyes.

Getting to the other side of Jerry's pub house, they drove through the back and finally packed up the car.

'Kick! kick!!'

Adrian kicked the car from the boot. And his paws struck through the steel while he kicked harder and louder.

The clutch of vampires gave a disdainful glance, watching him kick the boot even more. They gave a hateful sneer, watching. Getting ready for what awaits.

'Kick! Kick!! Kick!!!'

One of them with rings on his fingers walked towards the car and open up the boot. Instantly, Adrian jumped out, grabbing the vampire on his chest and gibing his bald head a good chew. Adrian's werewolf vemon spread in his veins, he got weak while others stepped back with puzzled faces. Adrian growled, facing them as they surround him.

Stormie was horrified at how they howl and grumble at each other. She climbed out of the boot and ran away.

"Grrrr!" one of them snarled at her but another, who seemed to be powerful stopped him.

"Leave her, she means nothing to us!" He hissed and they focused on Adrian. He threw his paws at them but one of the attackers flew up with his long, leather coat and hit him at the back. Others gathered, hitting Adrian harder while Stormie ran out of the compound. Lucky enough, she was able to escape without a scratch while Adrian was taken into the dark building.

Getting out, Stormie could see the market from a distance. She ran towards the grocery store if she could still meet up with Sir Shkodra and tell him all about it.

Getting closer, She saw Maria helping him pack up the shopping bags into his truck.

"Sir Shkodra! Sir Shkodra!!" Stormie yelled out her lungs so he could hear but the market was too crowded. He couldn't hear.

"Sir Shkodra! Sir Shkodra!!" Stormie pushed the passer-bys, finding her way there. "Sir Shkodra, wait!"

He got into the truck and Maria waved him goodbye. He sped off into the busy road. Disappointment struck Stormie as she thought of what next to do.

Meanwhile, Jessica and Jerry were at Megastar restaurant. Other customers were dressed in elegant ball gowns while the men were either in regular clothes or modern style suits. Jessica wore a fitted in empire waist gown which had a round off shouldered, neck designed with barn-red roses.

Jerry was in all black suit, looking handsome as ever. The violists sat at the corner of the room, playing a classic waltz music for the couples.

"Well, congrats Mr. Kelmendi! You're now the new owner of the thousand year old Wolfsberg Castle." Jessica told him as they started the dance. "Although I thought you would love to live somewhere bigger, like United States or New York. Somewhere  bigger than Wolfsberg."

He stopped.

"Are you already? " Jessica asked.

"Yes." He swallowed with joy in his eyes. "I'm... I'm dumbfounded. You have no idea how long we've been waiting for this."

"We?" Jessica frowned.

"No, I mean.... Me. The royal we." He paused his smile, staring into her dark-brown eyes.

Jessica stared back at his, lost in his charms. They part for a moment, breathing in, before indulging themselves once more. Jessica has always been so brave but that part of her melts away.

With a sexy smile, Jerry held her hand. Interlocking hers with his. "You are different from the women I've met here, Jess."

"What do you mean?" Her heart sank to his words. Only her late husband, Collins called her Jess.

"I mean I admire you." He held her closely. "I want a woman. A woman I can sleep with, make love to, travel the world with and live my dream with. I want a life partner. Someone I can laugh and build with. Someone I am not afraid to lose because I know she'll always be there."

"I still don't get you, Jerry." Jessica felt brave in his embrace.

"What I'm trying to say is..." He looked around. Then his grey-blue eyes focusing on hers but he leaned closer to her ears. "I love you, Jess." the words came out as a hoarse whisper. Making her heart race even louder.

"But you hardly know me."

"I don't need a lifetime to know you in order to love you. Love just needs a moment. I made that mistake in my previous relationship and I let her slip off my fingers because I wasn't sure. I wasn't ready to acknowledge my feelings." A soft sigh escaped his lips and Jerry held Jessica's face with both hands. Admiring her ruby-red lips, his hand slide up her back. Cold and soothing.

"What about my kids."

"I love your kids." He confessed. "You don't have to reply me now. Just tell me you'll think about it."

Jessica melt into his touch and squeezed her fingers unto his back. Hard with muscles. She wanted more but just couldn't seem to get it. Avoiding his gaze. Fighting the feelings. Her body pulled away and he held her from behind, again. In a back hug.

Her eyes widened with the touch of hysteria burning down her chest. "Just tell me you'll think about it." Jerry whispered into her ears again, then he turned her forth and their eyes met.

Jessica got so indulged, she vaguely sensed his long fingers working at her waist.

"Okay, Jerry." She whispered his name with trembling breaths. "I will think about it. I will give you a reply before I leave."

Her promising eyes caught the smirk on his lips. Gradually, Jerry tilted closer to her lips, pressing his lips to hers in a passionate manner.

As if under a spell, Jessica's eyes closed to the intoxication of his wine stained lips. Jerry's hot, whiskey breathe pulled her in, scooting closer with her pounding heart.

His lips part hers, and their tongues meet. Jessica mapped out his mouth, feeling every inch in the passionate kiss. Her small hands slides down his waist, holding him firmly so she won't fall from all of it.

Jerry's fingers tangle her jet-black  hair, filling her with more kisses. Jessica haven't been this close to anyone, ever since Collins left.

But right now, even through they were making out right in the middle of the dance hall, Jessica didn't care. She didn't want anything else. She just need him.

There was no distractions as they dissolved into each other's bodies. It all happened so fast, but Jessica couldn't feel anything else.

There was no one else but Jerry.

Entering the Megastar restaurant, Stormie wore a giraffe's neck searching for her mum. There were lots of people dancing and dining there. Then, she caught her mum, burying her face into Jerry's as their lips captured each other's in a firm zigzag.

Stormie pushed through the crowd.

"No... Mum! Stop!!" Jessica stopped, opening her eyes to the familiar voice. "Stop kissing him." She yelped, trembling.

Jerry and Jessica broke the kiss at once.

"W... What? What are you doing here, dear? You should be at home." Stormie swallowed hard, catching her breath.

"Where's my brother!" she yelled at Jerry.
