9 The Lady Detective, the Holy Knight and the Son of Moses.

It was now that time of year.

It was spring, which meant that it was also Easter.

Every year.

Irene and Holmes would hide the eggs, but they had to hide them well, for their sons are too smart to deceive.

There was a knock at the door.

Holmes opened it, and was delighted to see his brother; Laurence Bell, or as you guys may know him; Mycroft Holmes.

" Laurence, it is so good to see you, pray come in, come in " said Joseph.

" Much obliged " said Laurence, as he walked in.

" Uncle! " yelled Roger and Benjamin, as they gave their uncle a hug.

" Oh, hello dear boys " said Mycroft, as he picked up his nephews and walked into the living-room.

There was another knock.

Bell opened, and was delighted to see his sister; Elizabeth Holmes, or as you guys may know her; E. Holmes.

Elizabeth was with her husband; Sir Percival, and their three children; Lohengrin, Kardeiz and Eliezer.

All three greeted Sherlock, and then they all walked into the living-room.

There was now a third knock.

Holmes opened, and was delighted to see Cecilia Watson; the daughter of John Watson and Mary Morstan.

" Ah, hello little Cecilia, " said Bell.

" Greetings Mr. Holmes. I am sorry to say; that mama and papa could not make it " said Cecilia in a well-mannered tone.

" It is alright, your father is a busy man, come in and join the fun "

As the adults sat down, the kids went to the backyard and started their hunt for the eggs.

" Your bets? " said Joseph.

" That depends, how many eggs did you two make, this year? " asked Laurence.

" 30 "

" So, five each? " said Elizabeth.

" Indeed " said Joseph.

" I don't get why you guys do this every year… " said Percival, as he was Elizabeth's chair.

" That is what one gets, when one marrys a Holmes " said Irene with a smile, as she was using her husband as a chair.

Every year, during Easter, the Holmes kids would bet on how long it will take the children to find all the eggs.

" 10 minutes, " said Laurence.

" Elaborate, " said Joseph.

" Your backyard is about 10,871 square feet, and there are six children, each child would cover about 2 square feet on their own, and taking their age and energy into account, it would take about 10 minutes for them to find the 30 eggs " said Mycroft with a smile.

Sherlock now looked towards his sister.

" 5 minutes, " said Elizabeth.

" Elaborate, " said Joseph.

" I know my sons, and they have their daddy's energy, " said E. Holmes, as she clapped Percival's thigh.

Percival had a proud smile on his face, but his smile vanished as he realized as to what Elizabeth was referring to.

" So, brother, it is your turn " said Laurence.

Holmes simply sat back in his chair, and then said;

" 3 "

" But… 3 minutes have already passed… " said Elizabeth, a little confused.

" 2 "

" You cheeky little- "

But before Mycroft could finish, all the kids now ran into the living-room, and it took them 7 minutes.

" You had both your sons sent a text, before they entered the house " said Laurence with a grinning smile.

Joseph smiled, as he also held up his phone, showing the two texts from Roger and Benjamin, respectively.

" Mommy, mommy " said Eliezer.

" What is it, honey? " said Elizabeth, as she picked up her son.

" We met Osterhase "

" Did you now? " said Elizabeth, as she looked at her other sons, and both were nodding.

" Was there a stranger in our yard? " said Irene, as she looked at Sherlock.

" I doubt it, " said Joseph, calmly.

" So, you believe that the kids actually met the Easter-Bunny? " said Mycroft.

Sherlock nodded his head.

" Elaborate, " said Laurence.

Joseph looked at his sons.

" Did you meet the Easter-Bunny? "

" Yes! " said both.

" They met the Easter-Bunny, " said Sherlock with confidence, for he himself had seen many supernatural things in his career; from a hound to a grim reaper.

Mycroft simply let out a smiling sigh.

All now enjoyed the chocolate of Easter.
