"The way I was solely targeted, it might be safe to assume that I was the target or at least Ruby. If I hadn't arrived at the garden on time, she might also been history. The girl can't fight." Cataleya said, recalling on how the duke was set to kill none other than but her. 

The guests at the celebration came unscathed even after they escaped from the ball. If the knights didn't interfere at all, there might be no one who would be hurt but only her and Ruby.
