"AHHHHH!!!!"

"Hurry! Hurry! Inform Madam Ruo, Sister Xinyan is giving birth."

"Yes Mam!" The servant girl hurriedly nodded and started running to complete her task.

"Hurry!"

"You! Get instruments ready and you go get clean clothes, water and cotton!"

The servants hurried to do as the woman instructed.

After, ordering all the servants necessary instructions, the seemingly young yet mature blue hair woman entered the room where a beautiful mature red hair woman laid in the bed stricken with pain. Her beautiful face drenched with sweat and anxiousness.

The blue hair woman hurriedly went besides her to reassure her.

"Mei, it hurts! It hurts!" She said as she bit her lips.

"Sister Xinyan, calm down. I am here. I have already ordered servants to call Madam Ruo. Don't worry! You will be alright. I will make sure you will be alright, I promise."

Some minutes later, an old woman arrived as she asked Ye Mei, "How long has it been?"

"Around 15 minutes..."

After more than 3 long hours, the cry of the baby was heard. Madam Ruo immediately did the necessary procedures to clean and keep the baby warm. Ye Mei was worried about her lovely sister. All her anxiousness and nervousness visible on her face.

Seeing that Xinyan smiled and weakly stroked her head, "Don't worry, Little Mei. I am alright."

Mei teared up with those words.

Madam Ruo too was done with the necessary procedures so, she brought the crying baby wrapped in warm blank to the bosom of the mother.

The crying baby immediately stopped crying as he was hugged by his mother. Hearing Madam Ruo's words, Ye Mei laughed as she said, "He is going to be so attached with you."

"Mua! My lovely son." Xinyan kissed her son and laid her son besides her in the bed.

"You should rest. And feed him milk."

Xinyan then brought her breast close to her son and supported him properly so he could drink properly.

Fortunately, everything turned out okay. Delivery time was long but Xinyan battled through it and the baby too seems okay.

Xinyan was too tired so she fell asleep. Madam Ruo instructed everything necessary to Ye Mei and left.

Xinyan woke up at night. Her baby was still sucking her breast milk. She held him at her arms affectionately. He was so tiny, so cute. Besides her Mei was sleeping, sitting on the floor, her head on the bed besides her. Xinyan stroked her hair as she remembered when Mei told her lie.

"Why would you lie when you can't even lie properly? I know he didn't come. Sniff! Sniff!" Tears fell from her eyes. She had accepted it but it still hurts her heart. She felt her baby rub her breast as he uttered baby sounds. She felt he was talking to her. It made her very happy.

"Aguh! Guuh! Agooh!"

"Are you trying to make me happy? Don't worry, I don't care any longer. It doesn't matter now! I have you now. Muah! My lovely son!"

She then proceeded to wakeup Mei because she was sleeping in horrible position.

"Mei wakeup! Mei!"

"Hmm? Sister? Sister! Are you feeling hungry?Wait! I have some fruits and water ready right here."

"Oh! Thank you! I was feeling hungry but more importantly sleep properly. You should take care of yourself too. You should go sleep in next room."

"No! I want to sleep in this room, here with you. So, I can take care of things if something happens."

"Sigh! This girl. Fine do what you want. But bring the mattress and blanket."

"Okay! Do you want anything to eat or drink sister?"

"Fruits will do for tonight."

She breastfeed her son as she took him in her arm. She caressed his face and said,

Her cute son grabbed her little finger with his little hands and uttered some indecipherable baby noises. But Shen Xinyan felt her son understood what she said. Maybe those were just motherhood induced hormones. But right now what mattered to her was desire for someone to value her opinion. And one that was doing that from her perspective was her son.

"I will not let you grow up like your hateful father."

"Agu! Agu! Guh!....(some baby noises)"

"Awww! My cute beautiful son! Muah!"
