Chapter 7 - Dinner Invitation

The afternoon.

After Roger completed all the things he needed to become a teacher. Finally, it was time when he could leave the school environment, all of the students also flocked out of their respective classrooms.

"Thank you, vice-principal Ye Sheng, I'll come again next week."

Roger said as he bent his back towards the old man with a long beard.

"Hmm..." Ye Sheng replied as he nodded his head calmly.

After that Roger came out of the vice principal's room with steady footsteps.

"What a strange man, he wants to work but doesn't want a penny in salary." Ye Sheng said while stroking his long beard.

"For a young man who hasn't turned thirty, it is incredible to be able to reach the Black Gold stages. In this city, there are only a few people who are capable of doing that." Ye Shen muttered, he continued; "Too bad he's just a Fighter, not a Demon Spiritist. Perhaps this is related to him applying as a physical teacher. After exiting the school grounds, Roger walked the streets of Glory City which were filled with pedestrians.

The sellers were still shouting their merchandise as usual.

Some sell food, technical scrolls, and all kinds of weapons that can be used by fighters and demon spiritist.

Roger didn't want any of those things, except for some food that looked delicious of course. After all, if he wanted he could create high-class weapons with his system, all the items traded here were nothing more than Bronze grade items that could be considered as junk.

Roger stopped to buy a packet of skewers, after which he walked towards his house (and also the restaurant). But at that time he saw a beautiful young lady he knew, Roger walked quickly towards her.

"Good evening, Miss Shen." Roger said, surprising Shen Xiu.

Shen Xiu was shocked because suddenly someone was standing beside her. What's more that person was the one she was trying to avoid!

"Good evening. And also don't call me like that." Shen Xiu said as she continued walking.

"Well... Miss Xiu then?" Replied Roger with a playful expression.

"No..." Shen Xiu's brows started to wrinkle. She looked a little irritated at the moment.

"Shen only?" Roger continued.

"No..." Shen Xiu replied quickly.

"Then... Beautiful lady???" Roger continued with a thoughtful expression that looked artificial.

"..." Shen Xiu was speechless, "This damn man!" Shen Xiu shouted in her heart. Even so, deep down, Shen Xiu felt very comfortable to be called 'beautiful lady', this is what she always strived for, to be beautiful and noble in the eyes of others!

But when that guy said it with that expression, it made her even more annoyed!

"Call me whatever you like." Shen Xiu replied as she glanced at Roger. Her eyes narrowed, accompanied by the arrogant expression she used to display.

"Then just Shen Xiu, after all, that's a beautiful name tho." Roger said, nodding with satisfaction.

'Beautiful name?' Shen Xiu muttered as her two cheeks turned slightly rosy.

"Did you say something?" Shen Xiu's reverie was immediately interrupted, she immediately replied; "No, nothing. Maybe it's just your thought!" She said while looking away.

"Hmm... Ok."

"Oh yes, how about comes to my restaurant? I will make you delicious food... And it's free too!" Asked Roger teasingly.

"Lead the way." Shen Xiu replied quickly.

"It is true that. To conquer a woman, all you have to do is satisfy her stomach first." Thought Roger with an extraordinary expression.

"No, no. Lady First." Said Roger while smiling broadly.
