Am I Delusional?

'Could it be that I am delusional? But there is just some feeling within me that these are indeed the right choices.'

"I don't know why I picked them either, Dylan. I might have done unconsciously. But great-grandpa always told me trust my feelings, so I indeed think that these are the classes I will pick." Atlas scratched his hair as he asked Dylan in return. "How about you? Do you have any classes in your mind? I know that you have been training in Swordsmanship ever since we were children, so you will definitely pick that, right?"

Dylan nodded approvingly while giving smug smile. "I have so thought of picking Swordsmanship class, so that might one of our common classes. Hey, did you pick that class so that we would have the same elective? I knew you couldn't bear to leave this brother of yours~"

"H-haha, so what about the rest of your electives? Do you have any idea?"

"Hmm... I was thinking of taking martial arts class and mechanical engineering. Both are also 4 year long classes like swordsmanship, and I feel like they are a good path to focus in." Dylan then replied in a serious manner. "But since you have chosen to pick the Spiritual class, I will also take that class alongside you."

Atlas made touched expression. "Dylan you don't have to change your focus because of m-"

Dylan gave a light smack to Atlas' head. "Haha, don't get it wrong, I don't really need the take the martial arts technique class as I will be taking the combat practice for internal cultivators. Spiritual cultivation on the other hand might provide help with swordsmanship and breaking through bottlenecks in the future."

They looked at each other in a very friendly manner with sparkling eyes. Of course seeing a very pretty boy and a handsome boy stare at each other in such a way caused some female students to-

"Kyaa! This, I-I can't bear to look at this."

"Nfu- (bleeding nose). I see flo-flowers blossoming!"

"Uwaah! Pretty boy x handsome boy in real life! I wonder how many good karma my past lives have gathered for me to witness such sight!"

"Quiet!" A remark from the teacher immediately shut them up however.

"Then I guess my choices are final. Are you also completely fine with yours?" Dylan looked at Atlas while waiting for his confirmation.

"Yes, I think that these classes are a must for me to take."

"Good. Then let's submit them to the official school e-mail."

Both of them submitted their choices and started to quietly talk about some stuff. But Atlas was actually focused on something else in his mind.

'I actually picked swordsmanship class... Could the reason be related to my dream? That-' He then taught about the sight he saw in his dream. That final blow that the killer, no, Atlas in his dreams launched against Dylan. 'Such a thing... I saw both Mana and Qi being used before. But, never before have I seen that kind of power. I sort of remember that it is related to swords, yet it is not any weapon intent neither is it any sword shaped mana or qi. This really... intrigues me. I don't know why. I never personally was a fan of swords, but now I can't wait to get my hands on one.'

"... so as I was sayin... Hey. Hey, Atlas! Are you falling asleep on me again?! You!"

"Hahaha, sorry, sorry. I was just thinking about some other stuff. Hmm. Now that I think about it, have you seen Lillian yet? I heard that she was also attending this school."

Lillian MacGregor, a childhood friend of both Atlas and Dylan, as well as Dylan's fiancee. She was 3 months older than the two, born on January 1st. She had also entered this school, but as her talent was even higher than the two, she was placed in a special homeroom. Atlas and Dylan had both heard from their parents that as long she was able to mature, Lillian would at least attain the strength of an Emperor stage powerhouse.

In fact, when she become 13 years old, her cultivation was ready on par with Grandmaster stage cultivator. The two didn't know her exact talent, but knew that she was a rare thunder alignment Qi cultivator. Yet the two didn't know if she had even more alignments.

Lillian was also born with a strong physique, although her body didn't look any muscular. And although Atlas hadn't seen her for the last few years, he remembered that she had a very beautiful face, which still looked very pretty even when her facial structure wasn't completely developed.

Honestly speaking, even she wasn't as beautiful as Atlas, as his looks could probably only be defined as otherworldly.

There was another thing Atlas remembered about Lillian, and probably the most important fact. She would often beat up Atlas and Dylan. She would beat them up when they played together without her, hang out together without her, or even ate together without her. Although, she would never hit Atlas' face, and would always be more harsh toward Dylan, calling him: "Cheater", "Betrayer", "Traitor" and etc.

Atlas in fact knew that she liked Dylan very much, and when he first heard of their engagement, he was very happy for both of them. He had always been a little shy, and since the other two were very extroverted, they often took care of Atlas.

He had seen the two as his elder siblings, and enjoyed spending time with them very much. Although, as he got older, he slowly started to learn what third-wheeling meant.

Thinking of Lillian, she was also one of the people to die in the dream he saw.

When Dylan heard Atlas asking this question he shuddered in pain as he remembered the pain of the beatings he received from Lillian. To him, she was indeed a little devil. An extremely unreasonable and hard-handed little devil. But since he hadn't seen her either, he shaked his head in denial with a bitter smile on his face.
