Chapter 1Chapter 1 - Welcome To SMJ

At the far corner of the Academy ground a youth is standing watching some students practicing magic attentively.

He is a 14 year old. boy wearing worn out clothes. Though his clothes are shabby but if one look over to his face one can see that he has a handsome face with shoulder length silver hair and emerald green eyes.

" Watching magic practice again huh, Lux?"

The boy called Lux responded by bowing politely to the person who spoke to him.

" Good morning, Mrs. Leita, I was just coming back from my morning duties. "

The woman called Leita is a teacher at the academy. She is among one of the few who treat Lux kindly and sometime gives him some pointers and lesson about magic during her free time.

She has a slim figure with pretty big breasts. Her hair is long jet black down to her waist length. She has amber eyes.

She has many admirers inside and outside the academy. Lux was one of them.

He is a slave orphan sold to the academy when he was 7. His mother died during his birth and his father sold him to a slave merchant when he was 5 years old for 3 copper coins.

This Academy is known as the Royal Magus Academy. Different nobles children came here to study magic and graduate after they become a grand mage or a grand magic swordsman. Although commoners can also attend and graduate from this academy there aren't many commoners children here.

The reason is that these nobles think that commoners are below them and treat them with disdain.

Though bullying is forbidden in the academy but these nobles who have a solid background do not openly show hostility towards the commoners and suppress them from spreading any rumours about them using their political background.

Errand Slaves like Lux has it even worse then the commoners who only faced some verbal abuse mostly. Unlike commoners errand slaves are worked to death by everyone in the academy except some people. like Leita. They are also used as target practice for mages and magic swordsmen.

Lux who was sold to a slave merchant by his father before coming to the academy is sold to some researchers for 2 years by the slave merchant. He does not have a clear memory of those 2 years. After being sold to the researchers he remember opening his eyes at the infirmary of the academy where he talk to a woman named Iris Lexton.

She is the principal of the Royal Magus Academy. She told him that she found him lying unconscious in the wreckage of what used to be the laboratory of those researchers. She told him she doesn't found any traces of those researchers anywhere. After coming to the academy he start working as a errand slave. As for why he doesn't become a student here is firstly because he isn't a nobel and secondly to enter the academy as a student one has to pay fees of 1 gold coin annually.

To someone like Lux whose own value is 3 copper coin paying 1 gold coin even it is annually is impossible.

The Academy is located on the continent called the Magus Continent. The Continent is divided into 3 kingdoms. These Kingdoms are Holy Kingdom, Shadowgate Kingdom and Kingdom of Lucidonia.

The Holy Kingdom which is the largest kingdom is ruled by the Roland Royal Family.

The Shadowgate kingdom that covers the least area of the continent is ruled by the council of dark magicians.

The Kingdom of Lucidonia where the academy is situated has many different races like orcs, elves, spirits, humans, beastkin etc. The Royal Family who rule Lucidonia is the Emerson family. They are bunch of high elves. It is also rumoured that the 1st princess Yvette Emerson will be attending the Magus academy.

The currency is divided into copper, silver, gold and jade coins.

1 silver coin is equal to 10 copper coins, 1 gold coin is equal to 100 silver coins and 1 jade coin is equivalent to 100 gold coins.

Leita looked at the boy's worn out clothes and shook her head.

" You should buy some new clothes, " said Leita.

" It's fine I will sew these clothes. Spending money on new clothes should be waste as they will also get dirty when others needed me for practice. "

Leita felt sad for the boy who since he was born had only face hardships.

When Lux first come here he was always expressionless and did what was told without any complaints. After learning about him from Iris and himself Leita first felt piety for the boy. But after seeing his interest in magic and seeing him working hard to understand magic by only watching practice sessions of others she felt admiration for him. She then begin to regularly talk to him about magic and slowly over the years his expressionless face softened and he begin to talk with her about many other things than magic.

" You should take care of yourself. Also if you have any problem with anything you can come to me anytime ", Leita said with a smile.

"Thank you Mrs. Leita", said Lux while bowing politely.

" How many times must I told you to just call me Leita or big sis Leita", said Leita with a pout. "I am only 5 year older than you. "

"As you wish big sis Leita", said Lux with a slight smile.

" Good ", after saying that Leita walked away. Her perky butt and those 2 big mounds sway as she walked away

After night fell and Lux having done his duties was going to sleep as he hear something outside.

Lux live in a small storage shed which is outside the academy. It has only enough room for him to sleep.

He cautiously walked outside towards the direction of the noise. He looked everywhere but there was nothing but silence.

Then his eyes fell on a book lying nearby. Lux pick up the book and saw something written on the front of the bookl. The words were

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.
