Time skip: A few years later after the birth of the Royal Princess

Third person's POV:

"Please wait. Your Highness!" yelled a voice.

"No! I am going to my mother, no matter what you say," spoke the young princess, who had the same white hair as her father and blazing emerald eyes as her mother, while running down the beautiful hallways of the Wistal Castle.

Suddenly, the door of the medical wing burst open. Everyone got startled.

"Mother! Mother! Look at what I caught from the gard-" the princess, unexpectedly, triped and fell on her face.

"YOUR HIGHNESS!" a voice boomed beyond the door.

At the same time, screams came out from the room, "PRINCESS!"

Shirayuki hurried over to her daughter and embraced her in her arms.

"Ohh! My! What made my princess trip?" said shirayuki while wiping the rolling tears from her cheeks.

The princess pointed at the floor. Shirayuki giggled as there was nothing on the floor.

" I will surely punish this floor who made my princess trip," she said with a chuckle.

"I'm sorry, Little Miss! I couldn't keep the princess from falling," Obi said while bowing his head.

Shirayuki's POV:

"It's alright. This is how kids grow up. Isn't it? Truthfully, it's more amusing to see the flustered expression on Obi's face once in a while. I could even hear your scream beyond the door," I said with a chuckle. Obi has been the personal knight of the princess ever since she was born. I still remember the surprised expression on Zen's face when Obi handed over his resignation letter. After all, who in the world knew that he wanted to upgrade himself from being a bodyguard to a full-fledged knight? Of course, he had to struggle a lot to be a member of the Royal Knights, but in the end, he did it.

"Let me apply the bandage on her nose," the chief pharmacist said.

"Ohh! Please!" I said.

"By the way, My Princess! What did you come here for?" I asked, to keep her attention away from the bandage.

"Mother! Look! I wanted to show you this," she held out her hand before me.

"My goodness! It's a Yura Shigure. Where did you find it? And why are holding it in your hand?" I questioned, one after another.

"I found it in the garden. I wanted to show you my favorite flower," she answered.

"Favorite?"

"Yes!" she looked over the flower, lovingly. And before she knew it, a beautiful smile spread across her cheeks.

"And why is this flower your favorite?" I asked.

"Because it is bright and red, just like you."

I chuckled. Never in my dreams have I imagined hearing the same words from two different people.

"Mother!" she called out with a confused look.

"Nothing! My lovely daughter! It's just that your statement reminded me of the past. A close friend of mine also said the same words as you. His name is Ryuu and he is a very talented herbalist," I responded.

"I never thought I would hear those words again," a warm, honey-like voice brushed my ears. I gasped and turned around. Before my eyes, sitting at the window, was the very person whom I love with all my heart.

"ZEN!" I called out his name, lovingly.

He jumped through the window and walked toward us.

"I never guessed that I would have to compete with a flower to be my daughter's favorite," Zen said while patting her head affectionately.

"No! You would never have to compete. You will always be my favorite and number one. I do not want my daddy to get injured while fighting," she immediately replied, shaking her head.

I chuckled.

"My silly princess! Do you think I will lose the fight to a flower?" Zen said with a laugh.

She thought for a while and answered," I don't know about the flower but I do know that you can't win a fight against someone who resembles this flower."

Laughter broke out in the room. I couldn't help but giggle at the statement of the innocent soul.

"Now, what am I going to do with you?" said Zen while kissing her forehead.
