Face-Off
[Amidst the confusion, the previously scattered group of Amethysts charges at the Agates.]
Amethysts: Go! Go!! GO!!!
Random Agate: *shocked* What the hell?!
Another Random Agate: Who the fuck are you Gems?!
Random Amethyst: Come on, Amethysts, let's go get 'em!
[The group of Amethysts begins to fight against the group of Agates.]
[At the same time.]
[Nice Lapis and Mean Lapis are seen to summon their water wings, then fly off.]
Nice Lapis: Wh-what just happened, partner!? What's all this?!
Mean Lapis: No fucking idea, that warship just came outta nowhere.
[The Warship is seen firing its cannons at the Topazes, it's about to take them all out.]
Mean Lapis: I hope Emerald doesn't blame me for this, I'm in no mood to take another one of her reprimands!
Nice Lapis: We should do something to stop it before the situation gets out of hand!
Mean Lapis: Right.
[The whole area suddenly begins to rumble and shake violently.]
Garnet: Amethyst, restrain them! Don't let them use their powers!!
Amethyst: I'm on it!
[Amethyst summons her whip and catches Mean Lapis and Nice Lapis in mid-air with it. Amethyst then lashes her whip, sending an energy wave at both Blue Gems, who cry out in pain as the energy wave hits them squarely and sends them flying hard into a wall.]
Nice Lapis: *groans in pain* Ah, th-that really hurt.
[Mean Lapis & Nice Lapis struggle to get up from the wall, both looking quite injured after being hit by Amethyst's energy wave.]
Nice Lapis: Boy, are they strong.
Mean Lapis: Not strong enough to take us down, though!
[The whole area rumbles again, then the ground breaks open abruptly and a water hand emerges from it.]
Steven: Whoa...
[Steven then runs in, followed by Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl.]
Steven: Hey, that's enough!
Nice Lapis: Look, partner, it's Steven Universe! It's... it's him, isn't it? Or am I mistaking him for someone else?
Mean Lapis: No, you're not. It IS him, in the flesh. So, Steven, I guess it's you we have to thank for this surprise attack, or am I wrong?
Steven: Uh... sort of.
Mean Lapis: ... Sort of what?! Anyway, what matters now is that we finally found you, which means it's time for you to pay for your crimes! With your life!
[Mean Lapis slams the water arm onto the Crystal Gems, trapping Garnet underneath it and knocking Pearl, Steven and Amethyst aside. Garnet, however, manages to easily break free of the water arm and punches it away.]
Mean Lapis: *surprised* What the-?!
Garnet: You were right, Steven. These two don't have as refined a control of water as Lapis.
Mean Lapis: You think so because you haven't seen what we're really capable of yet!
[A large amount of water begins to gush out of the cracks in the ground.]
Amethyst: *in fear* So, guys, what's the plan now!?
[Both Mean Lapis & Nice Lapis fly off as all the water accumulates in one spot.]
Garnet: Do it, Peridot!! Now!!!
Steven: *confused* Huh?
[Peridot is seen activating her limb enhancers, subsequently firing a tractor beam at Mean Lapis & Nice Lapis, successfully halting them in their track. Both Blue Gems are now immobilized and unable to speak or take action.]
Peridot: Gotcha!
Garnet: Excellent, just as planned! Well done, Peridot!
[All the water that both Lapis Lazulis had accumulated falls down and goes back where it came from.]
Steven: When did you two plan all this?
Garnet: While you were talking about nicknames and other nonsense, Peridot and I were coming up with a contingency plan, just in case.
[Garnet says as she adjusts her visor.]
Peridot: I came up with most of it, by the way.
Steven: I see.
Amethyst: So, will you take them with you?
Peridot: Yes, it seems I have no choice. If I let them go, chances are they'll want to pick a fight with us again.
Amethyst: Maybe the best thing to do is to poof them, right?
Steven: Well--
[A loud explosion is suddenly heard in the distance, causing everyone to turn their eyes to the sky and gape at the sight of the Warship completely surrounded by Homeworld Ships, which are firing their plasma cannons and missiles at it.]
[Inside the warship.]
Captain Gem: Oh, fuck! They surrounded us faster than I thought! *to her crew* Fire at will!
[The Warship begins firing its weapons at the Homeworld Ships and manages to shoot down some of them; however, the Homeworld Ships vastly outnumber it.]
Random Crewgem #1: *in fear* Th-There are too many of them! And what's worse, more and more are coming!
Random Crewgem #2: *in fear* Their attacks are constant from all sides, at this rate our shields won't hold much longer, captain!
Captain Gem: *shocked* I-It can't be.
[They did their best to counterattack, they shot down some enemy ships, but in the end the inevitable happened, the Warship was shot down by the Homeworld ships, which were in the majority.]
Steven: They were...
[Steven watches in shock as the flame-engulfed Warship plummets to the ground in free fall.]
Steven: NOOO!
[The Warship crashes violently into a hill in the distance and explodes.]
Steven: I hope those Gems are all right. I'd better go check on them asap.
