Starting A Simulation As A Wyrmling

On the surface of the sea that was being constantly stirred by a storm, a warship mounted with ten cannons looked like a falling leaf as it rose and fell with the turbulent waves. A violent impact suddenly hit the warship. On its deck, a group of soldiers stood firmly without falling.

"Not good! I don't know what the ship hit, but it's going to leak!" An adjutant quickly ran over and reported to the officer in charge of commanding and operating the ship.

The officer was a man in his fifties. He looked ahead with a serious expression. They were far from the coastline. How could they have hit something? Unfortunately, there was no time to think about it now.

"Dammit! It's said that murlocs have appeared in this area. Maybe it's those guys!" The senior officer cursed in a low voice.

 At this moment, a few more sounds came from the ship. The adjutant shouted, "No! If this continues, we're all gonna drown!"

The senior officer was also in despair. There was nothing else he could do in this situation but give a final command. "Everyone, abandon the ship and escape. Whether you can survive or not depends on yourselves!"

The soldiers on the deck instantly panicked. One by one, they rushed to prepare their life-saving equipment and jumped into the sea. Soon, screams came from the sea, and bright red blood floated up to the surface.

One wave after another continued crashing down, devouring the entire warship.

The night passed, and the surface of the sea became calm. The waters surrounding a deserted island were filled with countless wreckage from what used to be a ship. The sky gradually brightened, and the red rays of the morning Sun slowly fell on the beach.

A huge Dragon Egg was docked on the beach along with a few broken pieces of the wooden vessel. For some reason, just as the warm sunlight landed on the Dragon Egg, the egg actually started to shake.

Bits of golden light emitted from the surface of the eggshell, and then slowly seeped out to form small cracks on it. The cracks on the eggshell grew bigger and bigger. Gradually, the appearance of what was within the Dragon Egg was revealed.

"Hiss~" A pair of eyes suddenly opened, and a leg stretched out to step on the beach. The sudden feeling of coming in contact with the ground caused the little dragon to twitch a few times. Then, the Dragon Egg shook a few more times, and a pink mouth stretched out. It had a pair of big black eyes, a round head, and a short tail.

'F*ck, that was really dangerous. I was about to hatch, but I actually got discovered by those guys. Not only did they send me to a warship, but they were planning to offer me to the King of the Barne Dynasty to nourish his body. F*ck! I'm a dragon!' 

Long Tian's big round eyes rolled as he thought. Soon after, he became vigilant. 'It's going great for now. The storm allowed me to avoid the evil claws of those guys. But I just hatched, so it would not be good to let those guys find me again.'

He had just hatched and felt that the surrounding environment was very dangerous, so he had to be careful. Especially when he had heard those people saying that there were murlocs in the nearby waters when he was stored in the cabin.

Long Tian immediately retracted his limbs and tail and supported himself with his tiny hands. Then, he slowly crawled out of the egg and looked around his surroundings with every step he took. 

He was on an island that was neither big nor small. It was lush with plants, and many strangely shaped flowers and trees could vaguely be seen among the tall bushes. Moreover, there was a mountain peak that stood tall in the middle of the island, looking like a ferocious monster.

Long Tian heaved a sigh of relief after he made sure that the area he was in was safe. However, he didn't forget what those people before had said. Thus, he quickly moved away with his short legs.

Although he wasn't sure where he was, he should be out of danger for now. At the very least, he wouldn't be caught and made into soup for the time being. Soon, he made his way toward the center of the island.

However, there were no signs of human habitation on it. Long Tian carefully inspected his surroundings but he did not find any traps. It seemed that this place was a deserted island that had not been discovered yet. Long Tian mumbled to himself as a hint of joy rose in his heart.

Since it was a deserted island, it meant he could grow up in this place without any significant risk. Just as Long Tian was feeling pleased with himself, he suddenly felt his stomach growling.

"Eh? Are you hungry?" Long Tian rubbed his stomach and smiled bitterly.

After he had hatched, he had been exploring the surroundings and had not eaten anything yet. Hence, he began to search for wild fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients. But unfortunately, there was nothing to be found on the entire deserted island.

"Damn it, do you want me to starve to death?" Long Tian grumbled as he sat on the ground, enduring his hunger.

At this moment, as he was feeling miserable, the sound of an electronic start-up entered Long Tian's head.

Long Tian was stunned for a moment before he became really excited. This was really like receiving a pillow when one was drowsy. He had felt bitter about transmigrating into a Dragon Egg and not being able to make any movement. His system had finally activated. 

Seeing the venison that had suddenly appeared at his side, Long Tian immediately rushed toward it and began to eat it ravenously. The venison was extremely delicious. It was simply the most delicious food in the world! Long Tian finished it in a few bites, occasionally licking it with his tongue.

He patted his belly in satisfaction. He stood up and walked to the pond to wash up. He scrubbed the dust off his body as he rejoiced in his heart.

Fortunately, the storm had allowed him to have the chance to successfully hatch. Otherwise, he would have perished before the system had even awakened.

As he thought about the system, Long Tian felt something was amiss. 'That can't be right. In the novels I've read before, people who turn on the simulator basically go to some other world to simulate and obtain a large number of cultivation techniques.'

However, he obviously did not belong to the category of human beings who practiced cultivation. After activating the simulator and obtaining those awesome cultivation techniques, it was the same. It would not matter if he could not use them.
