Marcus could be found within an open plaza square located within the capital of the planets central goverment but he was not alone. SN-21, Imperium officials, multiple Sith War droids, and countless citizens gathered together.

In the exact center of the plaza, the people could see two large amounts of wood stacked together in an orderly layout with a large log protruding in the middle.

In just a few moments, Marcus was going to inform his Empire that two Jedi invaded The Imperium. Naturally, he was going to blow this out of portion and inform everyone that the Jedi Order wanted to infiltrate the Empire and cause them harm.

The people however did not know why they were required to gather here. Hours ago they were minding their own business and living their lives when they heard the announcement.

Soon enough the people caused a commotion when Marcus arrived, The Archon himself was related to the announcement and they could not help but cheer out towards him.

The Plaza Square was engulfed by cheering as Marcus just stood on a stage and smiled while waving.

After a while the people noticed droids setting up the pile of wood and this was how everything happened.

Suddenly the people could see that Sith War Droids were marching towards the center with two prisoners in chains. Marcus took this opportunity and began his speech.

"People of the Imperium, today I am here to broadcast the execution of two entities. A traitor of humanity and a Xeno who serves him." These few words already caused the crowd to become furious as they began shouting curses towards the duo.

"I'm sure many of you have heard of the Jedi Order while some of you may not have. The Traitor and Xeno both originate from this Order, an Order who became a lapdog to the Republic. These two were found invading Imperium space and would have attempted to spy on us. To expose us to the Republic! To ruin all we have built! To return you back to when you struggled for food!" Nobody knew who started it but a rock suddenly struck the human prisoner causing others to begin to do so as well.

Marcus smiled at this and even noticed who had thrown the rock first. A little boy no older than ten, he could see the fury in the child's eyes and knew he would need to look into the child's past after this.

After a quick whisper towards SN-21 who nodded soon after, Marcus continue.

"I know you're angry... I'm also angry, humans who would side with Xeno's and want to burn down our golden age before it could truly flourish! Please don't throw the stones, let those heretics burn in flames!"

Everyone slowly but surely stopped throwing the stones as the prisoners were soon chained to the logs.

The Jedi wanted to stop this, all this madness was brought upon by a single person. A person who rallied humans from backwater worlds. A person who managed the impossible and built an Empire without the Republic even knowing.

Unfortunately, both Jedi had gags over their mouths resulting in the inability to speak. Marcus also began walking towards the soon-to-be set ablaze logs.

Everyone became dumbfounded and shocked while this happened, the reason being a Golden Aura engulfed Marcus and only continued to become brighter with every step he took.

Once he reached the logs he spoke with authority.

"With the combined decree of the God-Emperor himself and my own, I hereby sentence you to be burned alive to cleanse the heresy you've committed!"

Everyone watched as the 'traitor' and Xeno's veins began to glow an ominous red resulting in both screaming in agony.

Marcus decided to use his Haemorrhage ability instead of the traditional way of starting a fire. Soon the prisoner's clothing was set on fire followed by their very selves.

As Marcus and everyone listened to the muffled scream and he spoke up allowing those around to hear his voice.

"The God-Emperor has blessed me with his power. He gave me everything and he can do so for you as well. If you serve him wholeheartedly and truly wish his Empire well he can make you his champion as well." Could the Emperor really do this? Possibly. Was Marcus bullshiting? Absolutely.

He wanted indoctrinated citizens and for said citizens to dedicate their lives to his Empire.

As Marcus began walking away he shot a glance towards the young child from before and SN-21 who saw this began looking into his available background and put together a file to be digitalized onboard 'The Reclaimer'.

A small child watched as two bodies began to slowly turn to ash and his boiling rage slightly lessened.

Oh, how he hated those who wanted to bring harm to his new home. A home where he no longer needed to beg or scavenge for food for his recovering sister and himself.

Ever since the child became a part of the Imperium he and his little sister received a place to stay, food to eat, a place to learn, and a robotic caretaker. If someone hurt his new home then how would he continue to treat his little sister?

He could barely remember his parent's faces after they were murdered by pirates... The only reason he and his sister survived was so that those pirates could sell them off...

Luckily the planet they would have been sold on was already taken over and those stupid pirates didn't even notice.

One thing led to another and he was given a place to stay on this planet. When he learned that a traitor was going to be executed his vision turn red and the next thing he knew was that he had thrown a rock.

'Why... Why would someone want to betray our home? Aliens are bad so why would a human side with them? The Imperium gave us everything we could have wanted and yet they did...' as the boy began walking away from the crowd towards his new home a Sith War droid began following him.

(A/N: Word count is already over 1,000 so don't worry about thinking I put this here to fill it. I'm writing here again because I wrote too much in the Author section.

Okay so I know I left a plot hole and some of you may wonder 'Why did the Jedi not use the force to fight back' but I'm just going to say the pain was mind-breaking and they didn't even think about it.

So anyway, Nioh was free on Epic games store and I finally had some time to play it and I got to say, it's really fun.

Leave a review if you like my work, any suggestions are always welcome.

Someone asked 'i thought the war was years away' or something similar and ill explain what I meant.

I plan on introducing the Imperium to the Republic, at first it will be territory demands and such and diplomatic issues until finally, Marcus reveals his true purpose of starting a war.

If you would like I'll answer any questions you might have tomorrow so post them in the comments and if it's related to the novel I will answer them.

Thanks to everyone who left a review so far!

I'll see you guys next time!!)
