His second life (protecting her at all cost)

Kylie prepared for school with much excitement, she had so much to share with Vera and Gideon. After her graduation, they all got a tattoo at Hartley's as an induction sign. She was at the top of her left breast and Vera said something crazy happened at school as well. After greeting her parents, Kylie rushed out to catch the earliest ride to school. On getting to school, the sky started pouring out light showers. Kylie tried running into the school building before the rain intensified and just then she noticed her shoelace was loose. She quickly bent down to have it fixed but suddenly she saw a boy wearing black sneakers standing in front of her with an umbrella over her head, there was thunder and the rain poured heavily drenching her partner. The scene drew the student's attention as they couldn't believe that the new mysterious handsome boy stood in the rain to protect Kylie. Kylie looked at his face and immediately she had a flash of the scene at the garden in Hartley's. She was lost in his beautiful dark eyes, his nose, jawline, and lips all gave perfection. "How are you doing Kyle?" Zayn said to gain her attention. " I. I'm fine" Kylie stuttered for the first time because of a boy. Zayn was loving his effect on Kylie. She was pretty, her dark ember eyes gave a seductive look, and her lips were small and pink, they looked rosy. He took his eyes down to her exposed fair and fleshy neck, he could perceive her cologne even from a distance.

The daily life of a runic artist in another world.

In the year 700 of the runic era, a duel of world importance and magnitude took place in the empire. Manipulated by evil and greedy spirits, the duel pitted the number seven of the imperial rune artists, Myutecuim also famous under the name of berserker, against the third place of the same order. A duel that was already legendary even before it started. A duel whose outcome will forever impact the story itself. But who could have predicted such an outcome. Because in the middle of a battle between the two beings, the unthinkable happened and left no one indifferent. But quite surprised at the result, the berserker artist opened his eyes and saw for the first time in centuries, the light of day. Without suspecting that this brilliance announced for him, a new day in a new body in a new world. A modern world different from its ancient medieval world. He woke up in the skin of an infant and soon realized that he had undergone reincarnation. Tired of war and fighting with its share of death and blood of which he himself is guilty in most cases, he decided to take advantage of this opportunity to lead a peaceful and simple life far from blood and violence but he will soon discover that this new world was far from being as normal and scientific as he thought and that his reincarnation was not due to a simple chance because the past he left behind him in his old world , threatens to swallow up his present in this new world. "Who wants peace prepares for war" "Who wants happiness, goes through misfortune" "Who wants to sleep must first wake up" Because the daily life of a rune artist in another world can only be special.

Originally confined to the southeast of the country, the Oromo migrated in waves of invasions in the 16th century CE. They occupied all of southern Ethiopia, with some settling along the Tana River in Kenya; most of the central and western Ethiopian provinces, including the southern parts of the Amhara region; and, farther north, the Welo and Tigre regions near Eritrea. Wherever the Oromo settled in those physically disparate areas, they assimilated local customs and intermarried to such an extent that much of their original cultural cohesiveness was lost. They were eventually subjugated by the Amhara, the next largest ethnolinguistic group in Ethiopia. In the east and north, however, long mingling and intermarrying with the Sidamo and Amhara resulted in the adoption of a sedentary agriculture. The southern groups, such as the Arusi and Boran (Borana) Oromo, have remained pagan, believing in a sky god. They have retained virtually intact the gada, or highly formalized age-set system (a system in which all members of society are included in separate age groups for life). Those traditions have been diluted in the north, where the Oromo are either Muslim or members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and where many Oromo have, through acculturation, become social equals to the dominant Amhara. Cattle are kept by most groups, but, although useful for their milk, they are mainly for prestige, as a store of value, and for bride-price payments. Villages consist of clustered mud and wattle huts, granaries, and common cattle kraals (pens) and typically accommodate one or more interrelated families. Personal and political relations are largely governed by a kinship system characterized by exogamous clans and localized patrilineages. Descent, succession, and inheritance, with the exception of a few groups in the north that are matrilineal, follow the male line. Chiefdoms, wards, and villages are administered by hereditary leaders. Shona traditional culture, now fast declining, was noted for its excellent ironwork, good pottery, and expert musicianship. There is belief in a creator-god, Mwari, and a concern to propitiate ancestral and other spirits to ensure good health, rain, and success in enterprise. The Ascending Angel - Soul Trials

Reno Schneeberg, a once-promising doctor, is a broken man haunted by the death of his closest friend, who was like a brother to him. Engulfed in grief, his life spirals into dangerous addictions, pushing him to the brink of despair. Just when all seems lost, an unexpected opportunity arises: an invitation to join a remote research team in the Antarctic, tasked with exploring mysterious ruins discovered beneath its icy surface. This mission rekindles a long-lost passion that had burned within Reno since childhood—an insatiable curiosity about ancient mysteries. Eager for a fresh start, he ventures into the unforgiving ice, where he not only uncovers secrets hidden for millennia but also forms unexpected bonds that challenge his long-standing isolation. However, the Antarctic holds more than just ancient relics; it harbors a dark and terrifying secret, thousands of years old and so mystical it defies all rational thinking. This discovery pushes Reno into an even deeper despair, leading him to confront the cold grip of death and beyond. But is this really his end? In a twist of fate, Reno is reincarnated, endowed with a seemingly supernatural trait that could either elevate him to a celestial hierarchy or lead to the destruction of his very soul. (The main story is set in a time period comparable to the Renaissance on Earth, filled with supernatural phenomena inspired by Celtic, Roman, and medieval folklore. The story focuses on Reno as he tries to navigate a completely new environment and survive constant threats while trying to grow stronger and grapple with traumatizing events.) *** Everything in this story is purely fictional, and none of the characters exist in real life. Reader caution is advised due to violence and gore. ***
