And just as in the story he was sent a way at birth despite being the king’s eldest son. Rune was born from the second queen killing her in the process. Unlike in the story though, Rune was able to master control over his magic and apply knowledge he learned from his previous life making him stronger. He mastered his innate magic by eight. Swordsmanship by twelve. Healing arts by fourteen. And etiquette, dancing, and such somewhere in between. Now he’ll being going home at age fifteen, unlike his character in the novel who went home at twenty-one.
