Skuld Weasley - [A Harry Potter Fanfic]

A man with a white beard and half-moon glasses carries a bundle wrapped in blankets.

He had finally found her, and that was the best thing he could have done in the century of his life.

He walks forward avoiding bushes and some gnome from the family garden, and stops in front of the door knocking on it.

Instantly, a man with the beginnings of baldness and a wand raised in a defensive position opens the door.

"How can I know it's you?" He asks suspiciously without lowering his wand.

"Last time I came here, Molly offered me green tea," he said quietly.

"Come in, come in," The Weasley Patriarch said quickly, passing to the side and casting a furtive glance at the bundle in his arms. "What is that you're carrying?"

"I found her," he said and moved the blanket a little to reveal a baby no more than a year old with short orange hair. "She was found by Remus Lupin, she was taken by some Death Eaters."

The man, trembling with joy, relief, and nervousness, caresses the baby's round face a little.

-I-I...-a tear falls down his cheek.- Th-Thank you for saving my daughter, Professor Dumbledore, I don't know how to thank you.

- Arthur? - A red-haired, pregnant woman also comes down with her wand raised. - Professor Dumbledore!

- Good evening, Molly - the old wizard smiles kindly. - Now that we're all here, I would like to talk about little Weasley.

"W-Weasley?" She looks at the girl wrapped in a blanket and rushes to take her from her husband's arms with extreme euphoria. Her little girl...- Oh, by Merlin, she's alive.
